When I followed up the following week he asserted that he is "not the process server." Within the span of ~1.5 weeks, I was twice given unhelpful and disrespectful replies. After reminding Adam that the process server is acting as his agent, I suggested he comport himself better or send me my case file. Adam did neither: (1.) He refused to send me my case file (seemingly, violating Rule 1.16(e) of his professional conduct rules). (2.) He threatened to stop process service on counter-party.

My review is for Oren Goldhaber, Esq. a partner in the firm…read more Over the years my husband and I worked with a number of real estate attorneys. I never felt compelled to recommend any of them before Oren Goldhaber. Simply put, he's great! Oren represented us in the purchase of a pied-a-terre in a co-op building on the upper eastside of Manhattan. He handled problems we had with the seller quickly and efficiently, looking out for our best interests and helping us navigate the legal system. We had complete faith in his recommendations. Oren is adept at his trade, easy to work with and -- also important to me -- very likeable! Would we work with Oren in the future if we buy or sell property? Most definitely!

We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced, trustworthy, and caring estate planning attorney.

It was a pleasure working with Judy Mock and her team (Isabella and Ekjot) over the past 6 months…read morefor estate planning. I first met Judy 6 years ago when I purchased my first house. She was my real estate attorney and reviewed all of the documents for the successful purchase of my house. Recently, I thought it would be wise to begin estate planning for my entire family (my parents, my sister, and me). Judy had a special package that included a simple Last Will & Testament, Health Care Proxy, Living Will, and a Power of Attorney. After meeting with Judy and reviewing our situation, she advised that we also create trusts in order to protect our assets. If we didn't create trusts, the probate process to transfer assets through the courts would cost much more than if we created these trusts. Judy walked my family through the entire process and answered all of our questions. She had diagrams to explain the process of estate inheritance and the importance of having all of our documents in place (Last Will & Testament, Health Care Proxy, Living Will, a Power of Attorney, and trusts). It took us several months to gather all of the necessary documents and review the estate documents. Once that was done, Judy and her team prepared the documents for execution and notary. Everything was completed in one hour in our last meeting. My family and I truly appreciate the time and guidance that Judy had provided us with in the complex world of estate planning. We hope to work with her again in the future for any additional estate matters.

Jill came recommended to us by our real estate agent, and we are so happy to have been able to work with her to finally complete our purchase. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and she always made time for us whenever we needed to hop on a call to get better understanding about whatever new piece of paperwork was sent our way. Her office is also extremely organized and FAST. Both she and Tiara always delivered ahead of my expectations with ample details, and always responded to any of my messages extremely quickly. Lastly, Jill is a great communicator and very personable. She communicates clearly and directly while maintaining a very friendly rapport. It was always a joy to hop on a call with her. And when we attended closing, she basically ran the room and kept things engaging while we signed off on all our final paperwork. The other representatives at our closing openly praised her as well, which I thought said a lot about the quality of work and relationships she has established. If we ever go through this experience again or anything else comes up, I will absolutely come to Jill for representation first. I'm almost looking for reasons to work with her again.

Not only did Philip guide the transaction to a favorable end on both sides, he has continued to weigh in on relevant issues, which extend far beyond the call of duty. I'm extremely grateful to have had Philip and his team representing me in what otherwise could have been an unfortunate situation. If you're shopping around, stop and call Philip. There is no better representative to represent us in the most expensive and important transaction of our lives. NY real estate is incredibly complicated and expensive but Bob not only helped us navigate through those complex waters, he actually explained it so we understood every nuance and detail of the transaction. As a matter of fact, Bob was so incredible that he helped us save a significant amount of money on a purchase that quite frankly the broker should have caught. He took it upon himself to re-negotiate the offer because he wanted to make sure we were being protected. Before the closings, he spent time with us going over the status and kept us in the loop every step of way. And during the closings, Bob spent the entire time explaining what each document was and meant before we signed. In fact, during one of those closings we even overheard the seller asking their attorney why he didn't explain the nuance of a particular tax law. However, because Bob was so detailed, he had already explained what every tax and fee was for so we went in prepared. We recommend Bob to all our friends and family. He truly is one of a kind. Bob always puts his clients first and if possible we would hire Bob for ALL our legal needs. We are lucky to have him on our side.

Then leading up to closing, it was a firestorm of last-minute documents I had to sign and overnight to her just so she'll have them in time. At closing, the scatter brained behavior continued when she kept using the wrong stamp on documents and laughed each time at how she did it again. The kicker was when she tried to slip in a 50% up charge for her services at the closing - thankfully she was unsuccessful with that.
