Chicken finger wrap

Ordered a wrap which I saw the cook wrapping with his bare hands directly on the unsanitary countertop. This issue was rectified as they promptly made me another one when requested. The wrap was terrible. They put the scorching hot chicken on the lettuce and wrapped it. In turn, the lettuce was cooked. Have you tried eating a wrap with cooked lettuce instead of fresh lettuce . Needless to say instead of having a cold refreshing sandwich,I was stuck with a hot, soggy wrap. I was reduced to eating the chicken only directly out of the wrap. I WILL NOT be ordering this from them again. Maybe they should precook some chicken fingers so they are chilled to avoid a wilted mess.

So I normally don't have a problem here and I drive all day so I get my food to go. Today I ordered a grilled cheese & tomato sandwich with bacon (as I have in the past) and as I was driving to my next stop I found out I had no bacon. Service isn't what it used to be.

Everything is homemade from cakes, pies, potato salad, pizza, and one stop shop. I was truly surprised to see all the goodies.

#4 platter French toast, eggs, bacon, and potatoes

This is a great mom and pop restaurant/deli/pizzeria! We heard breakfast was great. It was ok. Bacon was done right. I had French toast, eggs, and country potatoes. The French toast wasn't Texas style thick French toast it was ok, the eggs were over hard; I ordered over easy. The potatoes were good. Despite breakfast being so-so. The deli here is excellent. We have ordered club sandwiches, meatball subs, pizza and more. You can buy sliced meats and cheeses by the pound and they have great desserts and fresh bread.

Terrible pizza, dough was soft and cheese was very low quality. Sauce tasted like thickened ketchup.

They also didn't try to fill the cheesesteak with lettuce tomato and all that crap that doesn't go in it!

This time we visited for my birthday- on a Tuesday evening, they are running a two for $60 special. You get a starter, main, and dessert. The options are plentiful for such a complete meal, and I always enjoy my company (the Mr.). I had a spinach strawberry blue cheese candied walnut salad as my starter. I ordered the chicken parm: two thinly (read: perfectly portioned) sliced chicken breasts, coated with bread crumbs and fried, smothered in the same garlicky tomato sauce folded into the most perfectly al-dente pasta noodles. The mozzarella cheese was thoroughly melted and fused into the top layer of the chicken breasts. For dessert, I ordered the lemon mascarpone cake: three layers of the fluffiest, most lemony cake I have ever had. The mascarpone cream was not sugary- again, flavorful and lemony. I always enjoy my meal when I visit and I particularly adore their tomato pie. I have a little trick to being able to score some additional pieces to the two place on your table with warm crusty bread and butter; I have no intentions of sharing my secret! I know the term 'hidden gem' is played out, but this is really one of those places where if you don't know, you will never know. If you decide to try it, it's worth the drive. I have always enjoyed my time, food, and service the numerous times I have visited.

The place is pure glitz and while that's not my preferred habitat, the crab cakes are outstanding and the vibe is surprisingly unrushed. It's certainly a hike to Penns Grove but next time we're in the area, Di Paolo's is on our list for an old school rendezvous. Five easy stars.

Thank goodness for the two picnic benches!…read more I have to admit that the website was sort of misleading because I walked in thinking there was going to be a place to enjoy the food at Lapp's! In fact, plans were made to meet someone for lunch at Lapp's on this bright sunny fall day. But walking in our eyes searched for the seating area ... looking left and right nada ... I went into a narrow hall in this attractive market and realized TAKE OUT ONLY, which was very disappointing. The food is set out cafeteria style with some wonderful ladies and staff behind the counter to help. Each item look really appealing and we went for sandwiches. One meatball and one pulled pork. plus the side of mac and cheese. The young woman at the cash register tried to help us by saying there was a park down the road and then she said that she remembered picnic tables at the end of the building. Bingo ... The Great outdoors would be our dining area. The sandwiches were tasty and the mac and cheese was pretty good and the prices were amazingly low! I'm not sure if we'll be back because it was quite a drive for both of us. but if you're in the area, the store is a fun one to go into and we both picked up some jam. I didn't venture over to the meat section but I have a feeling that the meat is really good here
