I…read moreoriginally was going to get pierced by his apprentice but we had scheduling issues so he offered to do it in her place. Frank is THE most thorough piercer I've ever had. I've gotten over 6+ piercings and he's the only one who was the most thorough in explaining everything, the process, and anything else you can think of. He's the first piercer I've been to that uses the hoops to visualize where the piercing will lay and I love being able to check in the mirror. Most pierces just mark your ear and send you off to the mirror but I love that I had a physically element to compare to! The shop is clean and has a great variety of basic earrings you can choose. Frank was super accommodating and friendly. I ended up getting 2 helix piercings near each other and he constantly checked in with me to see if I was okay or dizzy. He even offered sweets. One of the other reasons I'm happy with my visit is he gave other advice that other piercers didn't give me like switch out my pillow (duh!) and place a pillow under your elbow if you toss and turn in your sleep. The owner is also a super nice, he even offered me cake once during my visit! --Friday the 13th Flashes: I first discovered this shop because they are one of the only shops that allow custom flashes during Friday the 13th. Prices range from $50-$70, up to 3-4 inches in size. They are also flexible with scheduling--you can take a number and reschedule for later in the week if the day gets too busy. --Overall: I've gotten half the tattoos on my body from this shop, and for good reason.
