What I like about Abbey is that not only are they a bargain on short trips, but they'll also travel to such far flung destinations as Bristol and Trowbridge! For a 25 minute journey after midnight it'll cost you just under £30 - the most reasonably priced service in Bath. Like all other taxi firms, they will also pick you up from any given spot but if you're in the city centre, you're much better off waiting at the hut and waiting.

I am 80 years old, use a stick because of severe back pain and here I am leaving a hospital ! ! The back sliding door was opened and then I was abandoned to get in on my own, no check that i had fastened my seat belt and I had to close the door myself because the driver was already in their seat. We then went the longer way around to get to the main road. Upon arrival I paid and was once again left to open the door and get out on my own and close it. Not a word of "are you ok?" or "can you manage?" No feeling of being considered as more than something sitting in the back seat. The vibes I got were not friendly.

The taxi for myself (bridemaid) and 3 young children was for midnight...it was an hour late by which time the venue closed the lights on the grounds out. The call handeler told us someone had taken our taxi as two were dispatched and another woukd be with us in 20 mins. In actuall fact it was 60 mins and we heard over the radio it was infact that the driver was late no firat taxi was dispatched. I will never use or reccomend again. I will also tell the venue not to recommend them in future.

I arranged this transfer prior to my departure from the United States and the owner, Steve was very prompt in emailing with rates and confirmation. On the day of our departure, Steve arrived early prior to our scheduled departure and assisted us with the luggage. The car was very clean inside/out, bottled water and we had a leisurely drive to Stonehenge. Steve was very engaging in conversation with answering many questions we had re the surrounding areas enroute to our destination - he was an extremely careful and alert driver.
