Great place, great service with some of the best pizza around. In fact the best I've had in a while. Prompt and friendly service, licensed and good quality food. I'll be back. read more

Terrible prawn pasta with sweet chilli sauce and cream ! Very expensive for the quality. Really disappointing.

On arrival we were afraid there would not be room for us as there was only one empty table inside and out which we thought might be reserved. It was! but the lovely lady at the door said we could have it as she was sure another would be free by the time the expected guests arrived in 45 minutes. She showed us to the table with a cheery smile. We ordered and had to wait for quite a long time for our meals, perhaps due to the crowds that evening. All the staff we encountered were happy and friendly and appeared to enjoy working in the restaurant. Once our mains arrived it only took one mouthful to realise that it was worth the wait. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauces very tasty. We should certainly consider returning for a meal should we find ourselves in Echuca again in the future.

I had heard good reports and seen some nice photo of the food the we're serving up. As they are owned by the daughter of the Monichino winery and having been there several times for dinner I was quite looking forward to this meal. The decor of the place is nice and the staff although a little green and lacking customer service experience in a restaurant were friendly and courteous. We had a few small hiccups namely when we rang they said no need to book so we didn't. But once there the place was quite full and they want to sit us at a wine barrel table. Anyway a table came up and we were seated the table was in even and rocked about considerably so we asked for something to pack under the keg it the table which seemed to confused the waitress. Any we shifted to another table as my mate gets a bit pedantic about that sort of thing. So we ordered some coffee which wasn't bad and perused the menu. There wasn't a lot to offer I thought for lunch. Being a couple of share platters five mains and six tapas style plates. A little disappointing really. We both ordered the chicken burger and it was nice the brioche bun I'm not really a fan of but it was a simple burger really. It came with a serve of chips and these were nice and crunchy. Overall I think once they find their feet and the staff are comfortable and competent. And if they expanded the menu a small amount or made all day breakfast available then this would give a few more options to choose from. Although not expensive and really just the same price as most places they need to life to get a good customer base as there are some excellent Cafe's near that serve better coffee and food with a lot more options to choose from only a block away. Having said that I would return with my partner to see if they had improved and give them another chance.

With the wine list designed to compliment the menu its a place worth going back to time and time again. Worth every cent. I personally have never tried a Steak Tartare or a Blue Steak before and was convinced by our host Carlie that the head chef Ryan (French trained), would create a dish I wouldn't forget. She was 100% right. I had to fight the good lady and daughter off from eating it all from out under me. It really feels like we finally have a Michelin Star restaurant in Shepparton. Will be back regularly. Amazing. James.

We booked a dinner for 2 at the Winery Kitchen on a rainy weekend away in Seymour and we couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable dinner. Staff were friendly from the get go and the atmosphere really relaxing and casual. The inside has simple decor and the restaurant is round with seating outside as well which seems perfect for the summer. The highlights: Pizza - heaps of prosciutto and rocket and the base was crispy but thin and soft enough that I even ate a few crusts! Apple pie crepes - the ice cream was really creamy and we really wanted to ask for another bowl of it by itself but actual crepes were great too. Tiny bit crispy on the edges with perfectly soft cinnamon apple on the inside. The great thing is heaps of the ingredients are freshly supplied from their garden out the back or from local farmers. What a great place!

A traditional Italian experience!…read more The atmosphere was quite loud as it was busy during dinner time. A bigger venue would benefit this restaurant as it is quite popular. Starting with a garlic bread I was delighted with the portion and buttered both sides. Our mains did take an extended period to come out which under the circumstances is acceptable as they were run off their feet. I was pleasantly surprised to see a large portion for the lasagna for the main. Neat presentation. Gooey, melted cheese and beautiful consistency to the mince sauce. The sauce itself could have used more seasoning for me but by no means was it a bad meal. The history on the walls contributed to the warm, homely ambience of the place. Visually inviting to the eye. Best Italian food in Bendigo.
