Was in Echuca over the riverboats music festival weekend and a friend told us about this place. While it is a busy weekend in Echuca and so understand that there will be a longer than usual wait for brunch (we waited about 40mins), I really felt for the poor waitress whom seemed to be only 1 of 2 working that day. The menu at black pudding is big enough to satisfy your Melbourne brunch tastebuds with sweet and savoury and healthy brunch options. I went the English muffins with Avo, tomato relish, bacon and added an egg. The special of the day baked eggs was also delicious. Coffee was good and not burt. Atmosphere cool and had a great selection of cakes and biscuits in the display cabinets. Only downside of this place was the long wait and one of my friends meals never arrived so we had to reorder and take it away. However waitress was very nice, apologetic and gave it to us for free. So overall black pudding is a great spot in Echuca for a good weekend brunch I just hope they have enough staff so the waitress's don't feel so under the pump! read more
