This is the worst agency you could come across! DO NOT license through this agency! They are super…read morehelpful in the beginning! And they all seem VERY kind. But they will turn on you the moment you realize you don't have to take the constant threats and passive aggressive statements from their team. Karina was amazing! But she is gone! The rest of them can be quite disrespectful and even downright nasty! They often forget that YOU ARE THE RESOURCE!!! And treat you as if you are the one who needs constant monitoring. My child's former worker NEVER spent any time with him! All she did was talk to me like I was the one who had been assigned a worker and not him! She'd call or text at all hours of the day and night- especially while she knew I was at church on Sundays- and then sound the alarm if she didn't hear back right away! If you text a person at 11:30pm, you shouldn't expect a response until the next day! Let me also say, I've had my fs in my home for almost a year and his CSW has complete confidence and trust in me and my home. His supervisor has even come out to confirm that. I have been a caseworker in a foster care and adoption agency, and the way they run things at this one is HORRIBLE! It's starts out great- but only as long as you are letting them take advantage of you. When I did this job, we actually supported the RESOURCE families. We were there when and how they needed us to be. We recognized that they are the SOLUTION and not the problem! I see most of the reviewers posted during their training period. At that time I felt the same way. It wasn't until after placement that they became disrespectful, unsupportive and flat out horrible to me. My precious boy and I have since transferred to a new agency and we are much happier for it. Don't be fooled. This place is not a good agency for the kids or the resource families. I will not call out anyone who is still with them, but I am NOT the only one with this experience. There are so many horror stories, but people are afraid to speak up for fear of losing their precious little ones!

I ended up adopting 2 kids through Alpha who are now my own through their foster/adopt program. Through the program of fostering to adopt, it can be expected (from the county) to have a change over of different social workers which can be a bit frustrating, especially when I had to deal with biological parents who were always wanting quarrel instead of doing what the judge had ajudicated them to do. The one consistent quality that I was able to rely on was the familiar faces of Alpha and their hand holding through the entire process. After the long process of fostering to adopt, this family ran business continued to treat me as their extended family and supported us through the programs, holiday functions and needed paperwork to nurture the cohesive family unit we are today. I have nothing but the utmost appreciation for this agency. Good experience.

I've been a patient here for several years, and while the doctor was helpful during my most recent…read morevisit and provided a physical therapy referral, the office's communication and appointment processes have become frustrating. My biggest issue was appointment scheduling and confirmation. When I originally scheduled my appointments over the phone, I entered them into my Google Calendar while speaking with the staff member. I had them recorded as Monday at 8:30 AM and Tuesday at 9:30 AM. However, the day before, I was told the appointments were actually 8:15 AM and 9:15 AM. This created confusion and made me question whether there was a scheduling miscommunication somewhere in the process. The reminder system also needs improvement. Patients receive text reminders, but you cannot simply reply "Y" or "Yes" to confirm. Instead, you're required to call the office, wait on hold, and speak with someone. In 2026, this feels unnecessarily inconvenient. Many healthcare offices allow patients to confirm or reschedule directly through text messages. I also noticed that calls and messages from the office are sometimes flagged as spam by phone carriers. I personally missed previous reminders because of this. If appointment confirmations are required, then ensuring patients actually receive and trust those communications should be a priority. Another concern is that appointments apparently are not saved without confirmation, but this was never clearly explained to me. I also did not learn about the office's 5-minute grace period until the day of my appointment. Important policies like confirmation requirements and grace periods should be communicated clearly when appointments are scheduled and included in reminder messages so patients are not caught off guard. During my visit, I noticed a flyer for the Healow patient portal. Despite being a long-time patient and fairly tech-savvy, nobody had ever explained what it was, how to use it, or how it could help manage appointments and communication. If the office wants patients to use the portal, staff should actively introduce it and help patients get set up rather than relying on a flyer posted in the office. The doctor himself was professional, listened to my concerns, and provided the referral I needed. My criticism is not directed at the medical care. It's directed at the office operations and patient communication systems, which feel outdated and create unnecessary friction for patients. I hope the office continues improving because better communication, clearer appointment procedures, easier confirmation options, and more reliable reminder systems would make a significant difference in the overall patient experience.
