Harper Myers) established the former, Myers Funeral Home on Main Street in Mechanicsburg, PA. Myers funeral Home (currently known as Myers Baker) in Camp Hill, PA, was later acquired by Ronald Hall, my Uncle. It was later acquired by Harner, I believe in the 1990s. Charles Myers was very detail oriented and a stickler for the appear of the funeral home. I worked at the funeral home as a young boy cutting grass, washing cars and learned quickly my grandfather's great expectations to properly maintain the appearance of the funeral.

My mother passed away this spring and we again used Myers (this time Harner was the owner) so first they have NOT been serving the community since 1947. I'm not sure when they took over, but he has not served since 1947. Their service was sub-par! They printed the cards incorrectly, way too late to change before the service. They removed the wrong flowers, took credit for something the cemetery provided, and then argued with us about it! Absolutely no compassion, no attention to detail. Their solution was to reprint the cards, which they did after the service was done, too late to get to the folks that attended. They even disregarded our billing instructions!
