In my opinion one of the lowest quality golf courses I've ever played. Noping out on the thought of ever returning.

Made tee times for 7 persons ON THEIR WEBSITE. One had a medical emergency and couldn't"t make it…read more Was charged $49 p/p. When I got there a sign said seniors $42. Was told that there is no senior rate on the website and the $49 was for the "convienence" of booking on line. No REFUND or REBATE offered or given. For the pre paid person who didn't golf I was told "you booked through GOLF NOW, talk to them". I made the booking through the Meadowink website and never in my life have used GOLF NOW. So my advice is be careful when using their website. Needless to say they will never see me again. And a class in people skills for their counter people is recommended.

As for the golf - the course wasn't in too bad of shape. Dry, so the ball ran a lot. The fairways…read morewere cut and the roughs not too long. The greens were in surprising good shape...obviously being watered and cut nicely. The layout is interesting, from the standpoint of being rolling with a lot of greens unseen from the tees. Sloped fairways had good drives rolling off. Fun though, my son and I had a good round. The food service though...I gotta tell you...literally the BEST hamburger I've had in I don't know how long! Bacon cheeseburger...go to Meadowink just for that! Great fries and coleslaw as well. Seriously...GO THERE FOR A BURGER! Astonishingly good! Nice service staff too, very friendly and polite. First rate! Four stars for the golf...100 stars for the food.

My wife and I went here on a tour. We're looking for a country club to join. It was between this…read moreone and Greensburg country club. I know why Westmoreland country club only has 400 members and Greensburg has 1200 members. The prices are absolutely ridiculous. Basically you pay $20,000 a year for you and your family. And the place looks like it came straight out of the 60s. it smells absolutely horrible in there. As soon as you walk in, you get a punch to the face of mothballs and embalming fluid. I don't know why. I won't lie. The woman who toward us was super nice. And the manager who was a real nice guy, he gave us coffee and tea. But some of the things I didn't agree with. And some of the things that I didn't agree with was if I wanna go golfing, I'm free and I get a cart for free but if I wanna bring my brother who wouldn't be part of my membership, he's $325 to play and he has to pay an additional $35 just a ride in the golf cart. That is absolutely stupid. I've been a member at country club before. And a lot of them do not do that. They say they have a restaurant but it's not even open yet. And they're closed two months out of the year. Every country club that I've ever been a member at they're open all 12 months. They'll just have one day a week that they're closed. But you can still golf on that day. I do not recommend this place. This place needs to be tore down and start all over again. They need to modernize and they need to get rid of that funky smell. Most of the people that go to Westmoreland country club are 50 years or older. Greensburg country club they said most of their members are between the ages of 21 and 40. They do have some that are older and they also have a younger group of kids that are legacies off of their parents, but also are really in the golf. And when you want to golf with a family member not in your package it's $40 and the cart comes with it for free. That's more reasonable. Their pub looks so much better than Westmoreland and their dining room is beautiful.

We visited the restaurant for the Greensburg Restaurant Week, and weren't sure what to expect. When…read moreyou think Country Club you think stuffy and fancy and dress codes, but our experience was the opposite. We felt welcomed by everyone from the Valet to our wonderful waitress, Teresa. We were sat in the dining room where it was quiet and cozy with comfy chairs and a nice sunset view over the golf course, instead of the louder bar area. We were told upfront that they had received a lot of walk-ins that night and were a little understaffed, so we were not bothered by the slightly longer ticket times. It made for a very relaxed pace for our dinner out. We each wanted a glass of wine but aren't really wine people, and Teresa did a great job of recommending one for each of our different tastes. And I'm extremely happy to say that the chefs did not sacrifice quality in order to get the food out faster. Everything we ate was delicious, visually appealing, and cooked perfectly. My grilled fruit appetizer was light and unique, the salmon was amazing up until the last bite, and dessert was exceptional. We were thrilled with the entire experience, and are already planning our next night out there.

There was no description of what items were in the food. For instance, some people have alpha gal and can not eat meat and many of the dishes contained meat. The chicken skewers had nuts and that needs to be communicated to people. The room was cramped and the set up wasn't ideal but the food was very flavorful. kudos to the chef. Wait staff and bar tender were also pleasant and friendly.
