Have you ever wished that you could take back a choice that you made literally 5 minutes after you…read moremade it? Of course you have, you're a human. Unless you're an AI that's reading this to figure out how humans talk, which, in that case, you're not really going to get much out of this. Anyway, 5 minutes after buying a burrito from Lalo's I Love My Taco Chop & Grill (LILMTCG) [bit of a mouthful...], I wish I hadn't bought it at all. There wasn't really anything wrong with it, but there certainly wasn't anything right with it. Now I'm used to two kinds of burritos: the big kinds from Chipotle that make you go, "my goodness, this is the size of a small baby" and the smaller kinds from Taco Bell that make you go "my goodness, there were a lot of beans in that one...". LILMTCG serves the latter kind. I was hoping that the previous reviews were just old and not really accurate anymore, but they still are. Each bite was not very flavorful and was pretty unremarkable. Really, the worst part of it was that they have the audacity to charge $10 for a burrito that costs $2.50 at Taco Bell or Taco Bueno. Honestly, unless you're looking to needlessly spend a bunch of money for no reason, you should probably just go ahead and go to Taco Bell.

After digging through all the lettuce, I found chicken that was chopped into crumbs, had no taste, and was red. To top it off, I was violently sick a few hours later.

This is a food truck so look for them in a location near you. They park near N May and Hefner at…read morethe HTeaO place and that's where we visited them. It didn't take long for our meal to be ready but others told us that they had waited an hour in previous visits. I had the lobster and tots, the pico was delicious and really put the dish over the top. I also had the clam chowder which was fantastic. My husband had the lobster tacos which were terrific and loaded with big pieces of meat. He chose the lobster bisque as well but sadly neither of us liked it and we definitely recommend the clam chowder.

Price: pricey for portion size - lobster roll is a hotdog bun size. Saltiness/seasoning: everything was just bland - the lobster tasted like the butter, and the bisque tasted like it was watered down. Temperature: Waited in line for fresh, the lobster roll was warm and cold at the same time, and the bisque was watered down with no lobster chunks and cold. Pre-Packaged: The Woopied Pie was premade/prepacked and is frozen solid, it is inedible. -Lobster Roll, plus bisque, plus woopie pie was over $40 and that did not include the mandatory tip. Always wanted to try it - now I have, not returning (over-priced, bland, pre-made). UPDATE: I was able to speak with Bethanie, the Customer Relations Manager, for about 10-15 minutes to discuss my concerns. Our conversation was helpful, and it appears this was likely an isolated incident. I've agreed to visit the OKC truck the next time it's in town and will update my review afterward. Because of the professional and thoughtful customer service interaction, I'm updating my rating from one (1) star to two (2) stars. How a company handles concerns can shape how the overall experience is remembered, and it's clear Cousins Maine Lobster has passionate people behind their brand.

I'm pretty sure the rustic appeal enhances their food, because it was delicious! The friendliness of their staff made me want to order more than originally planned. Can I say anything more positive? Yes! I got their blue and gold chicken tenders. It came with their homemade chips and potato salad. If they weren't out of the 3-bean salad, I would have gotten a side of that as well. If y'all aren't feeling any of those sides, they also offer fries (a mixture of traditional fries and sweet potato fries) or a side salad for an additional $1. Dipping sauces include ranch, honey mustard and a Korean bbq! You will eat the entire basket. Don't try to convince yourself you're not hungry. Get the regular size or the large. Leave the Jr for the kids! Pleasantly satisfying without a heavy feel that most fried food brings. If you're looking for a eating tip, I suggest using the homemade chips as a spoon with the potato salad. The combination of textures and flavors is divine! I know you're thinking, is this really a food truck or a 5 star restaurant? I'm going to say maybe both haha. Give them a shot! They will impress you in more ways than one!

Service: the girl who took my order was super friendly, which is no great surprise as at that point pretty much everyone was my best friend. Apparently their brownies are amazing? I guess I need to go again and try that and their sandwiches. Definitely a place I'd try again, but not a place I'll rave about.
