Paradise cream
Jennifer M.

This is a novel concept. That is the draw, I suppose. Was I to believe the hype? Sadly no. The ice cream didn't blow me away with any WOW factor. It was good - I chose the "Paradise" - pineapple, mango, banana, coconut - maybe it was too sweet and therefore the wrong choice for me. I can accept that and that's on me. Would I go back to try again? I'm not sure. The loud cavernous din of waiting patrons, the long wait, and well, actually the long wait is really ridiculous. I understand the concept is time consuming, but waiting in that loud echoing space really did me in. It's anxiety city...oh. Huh. That explains things. Sometimes even ice cream can't soothe the soul.

Best ice cream in london. Not only is the rolled ice cream fun, but the flavours are just amazing, and the ingredients are local and fresh. The first time I ever went I actually got my spouse to go inside while I waited outside with our dog... until one of the employees came out and told us that they were DOG FRIENDLY and would love to give our pup some ice cream! That experience alone left a huge impression on me. If you're looking for some delicious ice cream and a great hangout place I urge you (especially those with fur babies!!!) to come and support this business and try out this delicious ice cream, it's certainly worth the wait! PS. My favourite as of right now is Avo licious and applie pie (they use the fritter shops apple fritters!)

I am so excited to see something like this open in London! Perfect place to grab a quick dessert with friends after work/dinner. There's a really nice minimalist aesthetic inside and the owner was very friendly and attentive. There's also a good variety of flavours to choose from and a choice of frozen yogurt or ice cream. Rolled up ice cream is made colder, isn't as sweet as regular ice cream and overall a lighter dessert. I definitely recommend popping by to try this place but it's fairly new so the wait is quite long. A small cup with about 5-6 rolls was $5 +tax The cookie mash flavour was a great blend of chocolate and oreo, the Vietnamese koffee flavour is very strong so beware, and the avocado flavour is light and tastes fresh, in my opinion a weird ice cream flavour but great for avocado crazies out there!

Banana chocolate ice cream

An amazing after dinner treat! I got the banana chocolate rolled ice cream and was extremely happy with my choice. So many flavours to choose from! However the wait is very long since there was only one person rolling all the ice creams

A few friends and I stumbled upon Roli Poli after strolling downtown after lunch. The place was completely empty at 2pm on Saturday, so we got to order and eat right away. We placed our order, and I got a small Banana Split rolled ice cream. It's super cool how you get to watch the employee roll and make the ice cream right in front of you! The ice cream tastes incredibly fresh, and I love the concept of rolled ice cream. It's actually quite different from regular ice cream. The ice cream is less rich than regular ones, but I prefer it that way. But I must say how I didn't really like how my Banana Split tasted more like strawberries than banana. The price is a little over $7 (after tax) for a small, but the small is quite large in size! There's room in the shop to sit down and eat. The decor around the store is really cute and simple. I would definitely recommend Roli Poli, the experience is unique and the prices are decent for the finished product.

Cookie Smash Up

First time visiting Roli Poli and I was not disappointed. Their technique of making rolled ice cream was done with such finesse. I chose to try the Cookie Smash Up. The end result was tasty and photo worthy. I found the establishment's decor very bright and simplistic. The staff was friendly and prompt with service. There is a counter where you can watch how the rolled ice cream is made right after you order. A good video opportunity and there are a couple of spots for great IG worthy photos. They had a decent amount of variety of flavours for a selection. They had some ready to go ice cream as well in a freezer if you're on the run. Definitely, a place I would come back to and try some other flavours.

This is the first Thai ice cream I've tried in Canada - I discovered it a while back while visiting NYC, so I was pretty excited to try it again. I had the Key Lime which is my usual flavour go to. You don't really get a choice of the mix ins which is unfortunate, but not the biggest deal. I did find it to be a little pricy - nearly $15 after tax for two regular sized cups. The ice cream once in the bowl is topped with whipped cream - I wasn't aware of this nor was I asked if I wanted the whipped cream (so keep that in mind if you're not a fan) and a cookie of some sort (graham cracker for key lime). What bugged me the most about the ice cream was how hard it was when I sat down to eat it - the plastic spoon I was given couldn't break through the roll so I either had to bite directly into the roll (messy and painful option) or wait for the ice cream to begin to melt. The key lime was definitely tasty - would recommend to anyone looking for something that's not as overly sweet as some of the other flavours would probably be. The regular size was also more than enough ice cream, my friend seemed to agree with me as neither of us actually finished our ice cream. Overall it's a different ice cream than anything else in London, so it's definitely worth checking out at least once. Don't see myself coming back in the future but it's nice to see different things popping up on Richmond Row.

Good service. Sweet staff. Love this rolled ice cream concept and the flavors they came up with.

Went back today to try more two days later as it stayed on my mind. This time in a waffle cone which along with the flavour I chose. The 'Avolicious': Avocado, Chia Seed, Sea Salt & Honey then topped with my choice of caramel & coconut bumped it up to a whole nother level & star!! My fiance had Koffi also excellent as it was strong and robust. Their waffles are shaped there on the spot making them fresh & pliable. You have to check this place out & support the truck when it rolls out.

This place has the best ice cream with perfect toppings. Great technique. Quick and super friendly. Bring plenty of friends cause they love large groups. Watching the process is the best part.

ADORABLE! (Clockwise from top: vanilla scoop, cookie smashup, s'mores, chocolate caramel sea salt.)

Just awful... the wait was insane... full of teens who talk more then work... extremely overrated. I've had better.

I thought I would give London Ice Cream Company a try since I hadnt been there yet and it could use a few photos for its business page. It's a small shop with nothing special about it other than the pink exterior. It's obvious this is more of a place where they make ice cream rather than a place for dining There is only seating outside. I had a difficult time choosing a flavour and wasn't offered to try any samples. I read from another Yelper that the service isn't the most cheery and I have to agree. Their freezer had lots of tubs of ice cream if you wanted to buy some to take home. I also read on Facebook that at the end of the season they will put flavours together to sell them quick so you could find a good deal. Eventually I decided on the Denali Moose Tracks which was vanilla ice cream with fudge and peanut butter cups. It was good, but not extra special. I was disappointed with the fact that I ordered a single scoop, the same size as my boyfriend, but his managed to be almost double the amount of ice cream. What gives? The employee who scooped mine did break the cone by accident but I would have preferred he took some time to make it right instead of rushing to get it done. Overall, this place is okay. It doesn't have the heart that some of the other ice cream places have. The service isn't as cheery as the food they are serving but the product is good, as long as they scoop you enough!

Got our 2.5yr old a little ice cream in a cup 3.25 was a bit surprised at the price…read more No pralines n cream which is a major popular ice cream. No butterscotch either. So I didn't get anything. Friendly staff though. Picnic tables could use an upgrade as they are holey and falling apart. Not sure if we will go back.
