As someone who already owns multiple pieces from Rolex and wears them daily, I expected at least a basic level of engagement and respect when walking into an authorized dealer. Instead, I felt immediately dismissed and treated like a "pass" before any real conversation even took place. Luxury retail--especially at the level Rolex operates--should be about building relationships with enthusiasts and collectors. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. The staff seemed uninterested in having a meaningful discussion about watches, availability, or the brand itself. There was little curiosity about what I owned, what I was interested in adding to my collection, or even a basic attempt to create a welcoming environment. What made the experience particularly disappointing is that Rolex owners and collectors typically have a genuine appreciation for the brand's craftsmanship and heritage. Walking into an authorized dealer should feel like stepping into a place that shares that passion. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and overly selective without any effort to understand the customer standing in front of them. If you value customer experience, go elsewhere. We purchased a custom wedding band--a really special and exciting moment--but the experience was completely ruined by Emma, our sales associate. She lacked basic communication skills, didn't follow up, and on the day we picked up the ring, she didn't even acknowledge us. She didn't remember who we were, didn't stand up to greet us, and the environment overall felt apathetic and cold. When we finally saw the ring, she didn't offer for us to try it on or even get a proper look. She just sat behind her desk and told me I had a remaining balance--news to me, considering I'd already paid over the phone and received no indication that anything was due. To make matters worse, Meghan, the store director, has zero conflict resolution skills. Instead of listening or trying to understand what went wrong, she got defensive and said, "We've never gotten that feedback before." Sure. My shopping experience here was incredibly uncomfortable. At first the salesperson was friendly and showed me different styles of the jewelry I was considering. There were several options that I thought would be perfect for my partner. However, when she encouraged me to try on the jewelry I was looking at, I clarified that I was shopping for my girlfriend. This extremely confused her. I tried to explain again that I was purchasing the jewelry as a gift, and her reaction became increasingly weird claiming she did not understand at all and abruptly asked if I planned to buy anything today. Ladies, prepare to drool! The Diamond Cellar Nashville is the newest location in a small, Ohio based string of family owned stores. They have many of the ultra luxe brands... Cartier, Rolex, Chanel. The focus is clearly on fine jewelry and watches. They have a curated Bridal selection. And its all so sparkly! I was greeted by Cierra and she was delightful. As I wasn't looking for anything specific, she gave me an overview of this gorgeous store (and also offered me champagne... ;) Soon they will be opening a dedicated luxury resale space, known as 5A. They currently have a limited inventory of preowned bags and accessories from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, David Yurman, Cartier and the like. I used to come to this space when it was Jonathan's Bar and Grill... fair to say the space has been totally reimagined. It is located just across the parking lot from the Mall at Green Hills. Parking can be quite full. Not easy to open any business in a pandemic... let along a fine jewelry store, but cheers to the Diamond Cellar for branching into the Nashville market. Went in today. One of the most disappointing experiences. Greeted by a young poser like hipster who immediately dismissed me as a potential customer. The irony is I own Rolex and have had a very good relationship with the dealer in California. This guy was so rude and dismissive that I left to go visit the Omega shop. When I asked him if he knew where the Omega boutique was he gave me this very condescending smirk (come to find out that he recently worked at this very Omega shop and now at Rolex and clearly thinks his sh&t does not stink) suggesting "oh, yes you are not to our level, please go and shop Omega -- Rolex does not want you". As I walked away, I think he understood how he mishandled this and immediately offered me something to drink etc. I politely declined, walked away, promising to never go back there again and or waste any more money on Rolex watches. This guy likely is merely modeling the arrogant culture that Rolex has built by limiting access to inventory and allowing shops like this one to gradually erode the impressive brand reputation that Rolex has built up over the generations. Again, Rolex watches are gorgeous and deserving of the epic brand they have built so the experience is solely a result of the customer experience choices this shop embodies. Every employee I encountered was wonderfully attentive and hospitable, including the security guard, who offered me a bottle of water while I waited for a salesperson to finish with other customers. Christian's knowledge of Rolex and the company's history was very impressive. His passion for the brand was sincere and contagious without being pretentious. There was never any pressure to buy and he helped me select the perfect watch. We shop a lot and all over the country. I can say with confidence that I have not experienced that level of attention to customer care outside the doors of Bergdorf Goodman, and nothing remotely close to it in the Southeast. Took my Rolex in for service expecting a considerable wait. It took almost 4 months to get it back. Got it back and in less than an hour the pin that holds the watch to the band fell out. Took it back, and explained that I didn't have an issue like this before they did the overhaul. I was told they needed to order the part, it's been another 3 months. They do not follow up on phone calls. There is no sense of customer service. Kings does a much better job at taking care of their customers. read more

Diamond Cellar literally made zero attempt to retain my business, but that's not shocking, as business is obviously booming (must be nice). Wouldn't say I'm the type of clientele who Diamond Cellar instantly calls, whenever a Rolex shipment comes in, but I have purchased a Grand Seiko from them. Obviously that didn't help in the slightest. Rolex games are a joke. Will never attempt to buy one at retail again. Happy to pay the premium to avoid the BS. My experience when we purchased my custom engagement ring and wedding band from them 12 years had been pretty good until recently. At every Diamond store you purchase from the store will replace stones that go missing, clean and rhodium the ring/stones, and tighten any stones at no charge. Sent wedding band for clean and rhodium and was told there were a couple loose stones and it will run around $50. While that still sounds more than it should be I was like, sure ok. Get the call today that my ring is ready and there were even more loose stones so the charge will be $125. That's a lot. Like enough to buy another piece of jewelry cost. It is very frustrating. I went in to find out which stones needed tightened and it was all 7 of them. I got out my paperwork from a competitor across the street and they do cover all of the things above so I will be sure to consider that for future purchases and recommendations to friends and family. I will say the lady helping me was super great and sent me home with some complimentary cleaning solution, but overall DC no longer stands out to me as it did 12, 11, and 10 years ago. read more

Below are my experiences at the new Rolex Nashville AD. I hope this helps others in the area know how customers are being treated. I went by prior to the Rolex portion opening to introduce myself and had a good chat. Later I was sent an email about the grand opening for the Rolex part and I was one of the people to show up early, which worked out well because they had a watch in the display case that I was able to purchase. My sales person was great. The buzz was high and exciting that Nashville finally had an Rolex Authorized dealer again. Moving forward and multiple visits later is when things really started changing on how they handled customers. It quickly became clear that the management and sales director care only about one thing, how much money you spend on other things you don't want (like jewelry). The expectation is you must spend equivalent dollars on jewelry to the watch you want. If the watch is $20k then it requires $20k in jewelry. Also just to save you time this continues on all future purchases and is expected if you want any decent watch let alone any SS professional model. This has turned me off and my fellow watch friends on even making any effort to shop there knowing it's a never ending expectation from them. Unless things change in management I would suggest you find an AD that wants to really work with you. If you are a customer that wants a Rolex Authorized Dealer that expects you to always buy equivalent amount of jewelry for every watch purchase then this is your AD. If you don't want this and nothing changes then I would highly suggest you spend time with a Rolex Authorized dealer that will treat you fairly. read more

I dropped by Diamond Cellar today to begin what I thought would be a long journey towards Rolex ownership. Admittedly, I wasn't after the top end of their lineup, but from what I understand- it can be quite difficult to locate and acquire a Rolex of any kind. From the first minute we walked in I loved this place! Shopping for an engagement ring and wedding band was so overwhelming before going to Diamond Cellar and then it was just suddenly easy. My fiancé and I picked the rings together and it was the 3rd store in town among others out of town we went to and It was so incredible how their staff was so nice and inviting. Leva helped us every step of the way, we never felt pressured and felt really heard and understood. She was very responsive and the whole staff was so amazing and even gave us champagne to celebrate getting the rings. They are so so stunning and classy and honestly way better than I ever thought they could be. The quality is excellent and the prices are very good.
