Ladies, prepare to drool! The Diamond Cellar Nashville is the newest location in a small, Ohio based string of family owned stores. They have many of the ultra luxe brands... Cartier, Rolex, Chanel. The focus is clearly on fine jewelry and watches. They have a curated Bridal selection. And its all so sparkly! I was greeted by Cierra and she was delightful. As I wasn't looking for anything specific, she gave me an overview of this gorgeous store (and also offered me champagne... ;) Soon they will be opening a dedicated luxury resale space, known as 5A. They currently have a limited inventory of preowned bags and accessories from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, David Yurman, Cartier and the like. I used to come to this space when it was Jonathan's Bar and Grill... fair to say the space has been totally reimagined. It is located just across the parking lot from the Mall at Green Hills. Parking can be quite full. Not easy to open any business in a pandemic... let along a fine jewelry store, but cheers to the Diamond Cellar for branching into the Nashville market. Wishing them all the best.

Christian demonstrated such skill in identifying my need. He took the time to display such wonderful customer service and made me comfortable even with my first purchase. Needless to say I would confidently purchase another collection through him.

Lady clerk (older woman) would absolutely not let me speak to the jeweler about my diamond wedding…read moreband although I could see him behind the glass window working. Same result from the manager Davis - I was not allowed to speak to the jeweler although he was allowed to change the battery on my Movado watch from behind his window. Trust me - I'm sure he didn't know that I was denied the opportunity to speak to him- from both the clerk and Davis, the manager. Perhaps they receive a commission on repairs that they order? My ring has 3 diamonds totalling 3.5 carats and 4 smaller accent diamonds totalling 1 carat total. I thought that the ring snagged on my clothing so I immediately brought it in. Davis told me that all 3 settings holding the 3 diamonds on top would have to be replaced because I shouldn't "take chances" In losing any one of the diamonds. She further stated that that was the only way that they would do the repair. The cost of this was $400 per setting for a total of $1200. Long story short - within a few weeks I went back, receipt in hand because new battery in watch stopped working 3 times. Jeweler did come out and put the watch on a tester that showed the battery was working at 100%. Watch is 20 years old - I couldn't argue with the battery test! I did inform him that Davis would not let me speak to him about my diamonds' settings in my wedding band and upon his examination of the 3 settings he told me the ring was fine. No rough edges - no need for repair! He was very polite and very knowledgeable but he lost me when he told me how knowledgeable Davis is regarding repairs.SHE IS NOT A JEWELER! I don't think it's too much to ask to speak to the jeweler before I commit to a $1200 repair! Might I add that I was the only customer in the store both times that I went in. My thanks to the jeweler for his assistance and very friendly demeanor while saving me $1200 for an unnecessary repair! So glad Davis wasn't blocking the way to get to him on my 2nd trip in! The older woman that was there the first time and tried to block me from seeing him on my second visit but I wasn't hearing it! 5 stars to the kind and knowledgeable jeweler, 0 stars for Davis and the older lady that never got up off her chair behind the counter.

This review is influenced by my visit to the Rolex Boutique about 20 minutes earlier (located just…read morea block away or so in the same mall area) where I was greeted by one of the more arrogant and dismissive sales rep in all of my watch buying experiences. I own Rolex and have built a very good relationship with my dealer in California. While I think Rolex makes beautiful watches surrounded by an impressive brand history, I have not been very impressed (at all) with how Rolex has decided to position the brand in recent times. When I walked in I was greeted dismissively (the guy was actually smirking) while most of the reps were gushing over a guy who appeared to be a Titan's football player. I asked if they were selling anything and he very rudely just pointed to a nearly empty case in the middle of the floor. The case had two women's watch. When I asked if they had anything else, he just laughed and said no -- he was clearly anxious to join the party with the football player. So, when I asked this young sale guys where the Omega boutique was, he nearly broke out in mocking laughter suggesting that I was clearly "less than" as I was asking about Omega. I then go to the Omega boutique and greeted very warmly by the sales associate and welcomed to view several models I have my eye on. I mentioned my Rolex experience and the sale person knew the young man as he had previously worked for Omega and now at Rolex. The Omega brand, like Rolex, carries such a rich history packed with iconic designs and gorgeous dial design and exceptional build quality. But, clearly understanding the luxury watch market, the reception and experience I had there was just wonderful. While I did not purchase a watch today, I will buy one of the Omega's I have been pining for. I walked out making a promise to never buy another Rolex again. A big part of the luxury market is the experience -- if you buy a brand like Rolex where the experience can be so demeaning and non-inclusive, you really have to think twice about spending hard earned dollars in that brand. Thank you for the kind and fun experience today. I will be back and will continue to promote the brand. I will also be buying my son a watch for his graduation from college. Guess where?

They offered us champagne, gave us the payment options, and we became fast friends! We highly recommend this Omega boutique which finally helped our dream watch come true.
