Between the compound/open fracture and the other broken bones, my morning started off tragically wrong. Thankfully, Dr. Tam is more skilled than all the king's horses and all the king's men because he was able to put me back together again! Dr. Tam impressed me with his straight-forward "this is what I would do if it were me" approach. I like options, but he isn't afraid to tell you what the best option is. Before surgery, he put his hand on my shoulder and let told me, "You'll be alright." He assured me he would do his best. His tone and the warmth of a human touch comforted me. I was very impressed by his skill. This isn't his first rodeo and he is very familiar with the ins and outs of surgery. I'm pretty sure he gave me a Borg implant, take a look at the picture and tell me what you think! I hope I don't start saying, "Resistance is futile!" Nothing but praise for Dr. Tam and I highly recommend him. If you need his services then you're in a bad situation. Trust him and he will get you to recovery as fast as possible.

Boss lady Devika and Nurse Rose. Big hugs when we saw each other again. And of course I was all glammed out in my Royce Royce. AKA my wheelchair. Dressed in pink glam. lol. HUGE office . they have a staff member greet you and take your name to check you in. Once my paperwork was filled out i was taken in within 2 minutes. maybe they were not busy but i thought that was great. was seen by the Dr. Essig, very nice, reviewed the xrays i brought examined my injury and the best news is it wasn't fractured... would definitely come back here if i land wrong on a snowboard again....

I got to the office and you walk in to thru the big glass doors and there was a woman with a laptop there checking you in. As I had been to other north shore group offices there was no paperwork for me to fill out which was great. The office was very crowded , But do not let that throw you off they have like 12 doctors there in that office. I was called in actually before my appointment time and brought into room. Nurse took weight and blood pressure asked a few questions and then said doctors would be in in a few. The doctor was great and told me what the best exercises would be and gave me a cortisone shot for the pain. Walking in I wasn't nervous for I just though it was just a pulled muscle from excessive working out. Dr Sanjeev Suratwala - I could tell he had a smile on his face while talking to me. It was like talking to a friend which made me feel very comfortable. He went as far as not only explaining my condition but showing my my X-rays and going though everything step by step. Dr Sanjeev Suratwala gave me options of treatment and pain medicine. Also saying let's take it step by step to see what works best and will see me in a month. For now muscle relaxers, antiflammatory, physical therapy, acupuncture & yoga. Front desk agent Dariett was very helpful for I had to fill out forms that I forgot to do before arriving. Dariett was patient, very pleasant and informative. Theresa (Nurse) took me in asking questions about my pain and also small talk. We had a laugh. Again she was also pleasant. X-ray tech lady. Your appointment is confirmed left my house at 10:15 to make sure I got there on time because of traffic, on my way there I received a text. I couldn't answer it because I was driving as soon as I got to his office in the parking lot, I checked my text and it was a text from the office telling me Dr. Dagostino had to cancel my appointment. I was sitting in the parking lot already took a day off from work. I called the office and the secretary there told me that he is a sports doctor specialist. He does sport injuries. I have a knee issue that I injured. I think it's because I'm 72 years old and he didn't be bothered with an elderly person I'm a very young 72. I still work. I still drive. I still do everything. There is no excuse for this. This is totally disgusting. I don't recommend him at all. and he came recommended by a Doctor of my husband who we love and respect.
