Blood stain #1
Kevan D.

WARNING!!! Blood stains, BLOOD STAINS!!!! That should be enough to make anyone look away!! However that's not all - - there were cigarette burns, bugs and bug residue, a broken lock, no fire alarm, dirt and garbage everywhere, completely disgusting conditions and such a terrible smell. Sketchiest area ever - literally had people staring at us through the window. My girlfriend and I were traveling from Yosemite to Portland and decided to stay here - after quickly realizing that reviews online are completely fabricated - And the rooms looked NOTHING like the photos on the site - it was all downhill from here - we literally were scared for our life - we went downstairs to leave and get refunded and the lady at the front had left for the night and left a number which she never answered. We were checking for bed bugs all night - slept in our sleeping bags and piled chairs and tables by the door. I confronted the lady in the morning - no apology - just a smug look and said "oh, I'll look into that" I was appalled - I left that place promising to make sure that nobody else gets stuck here - PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE I BEG YOU!!! I will be reporting this place to authorities. Please look at photos attached and know I truly could have filled my entire phone with this disgust.

I cannot believe this place is still in business. It is infested with bed bugs. Disgusting!

Management is very kind but read reviews. There is furniture outside. People live there and roam around. It's strange. Not my cup of tea.

We stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton Medford for one night on our way to Seattle, and overall, it…read morewas a very pleasant stay. The hotel is pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I especially loved the full-size refrigerator, which is something you don't often find in hotels. Everything in the room was well-maintained, and the property felt welcoming for families traveling together. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated, but the quality could be improved. The hot water was only lukewarm, the pancake batter didn't seem to be mixed properly, and some of the food tasted like it had been sitting out for a while and had gone cold. The oatmeal was actually quite good, but I wish there had been a few more fresh options and greater variety overall. Despite the breakfast shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again on future road trips. It's a comfortable, family-friendly hotel with spacious accommodations and great amenities. Highly recommended for travelers passing through Medford with family and pets.

They are also pet friendly which is nice. On check in the front desk guy was very nice and even found a luggage carrier for us and brought it to our car. The room was nice, but both faucets were loose and needed to be tightened up. The free hot breakfast was wonderful and the coffee always hot. Interior was clean, and they had a nice open area to sit outside, tucked between the building wings. There is another Hilton right next door which has a restaurant and bar open till 10pm, and we had dinner there after our long drive.

I know, you're saying to yourself, "Ew, gross," but far from it. These are pristine clean, any temp you want , all jets working and strong. The rooms are immaculate, cold air conditioning, exercise room/laundry, pool and spa, free cookies, $5 breakfast ( we didn't have). The staff is welcoming. Reasonably priced, five minutes from Ashland. Pass on all the other hotels! We are making this our place.

We were on a long driving trip and decided to splurge…read more The not-so-good: For corporate management: Please don't nickel-and-dime your guests. On top of our $370 room rate, we were charged an additional $20 resort fee upon arrival. Yes, it is disclosed on the website, but we didn't notice it. Approximately only 6% of hotels charge resort fees and they are widely considered a deceptive price rip-off. We were also charged $5 per person for breakfast. Again, given the price of the room, it would be a much better customer experience to simply include breakfast in the room rate rather than adding another charge. We may have decided not to stay at $400 a night, but it would be honest pricing on behalf of the hotel. For the on-site management: There is also room for improvement in hospitality. The resort fee states, among other things, that "There is a $20 daily use fee which covers Afternoon Tea & Cookies." We checked in around 4:30 and went to enjoy the afternoon tea and cookies, which are advertised as being available from 3-5 p.m. There was no hot water at the tea station and only two cookies remaining. I asked the staff member there how there could be so little left at 4:30, especially since check-in begins at 4. I was told they could get more hot water, but that the amenity was primarily for guests staying more than one night. They did bring out more hot water, but no additional cookies or baked goods. Really? There was no backup supply? This was the only resort-fee amenity we tried to use, and unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy it as advertised. Our second disappointment was the in-room tub, which ran out of hot water before it was even half full. A relaxing bath was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here, so that was particularly disappointing. The good: The grounds are lovely, the room was clean, and the property was very quiet. After experiencing two instances of things running out, I read some of the other online reviews and noticed that several guests mentioned breakfast running out as well. We therefore arrived right when breakfast started, and fortunately, it was good and there was plenty available throughout our breakfast. Overall, this could be a lovely splurge, but at around $400 for one night, I expected a little more attention to the details and a better overall hospitality experience.

It's a beautiful hotel, and the people are very friendly. . The hotel is close to everything in town. There is very easy access to interstate 5, there is a Walmart nearby, the hotel is very close to Harry and David, and there are lots of great dining and shopping opportunities around town. The hotel also has a guest Laundry, which is very reasonably priced. I check in, and because I have status, they gave me a room upgrade, and they also gave me a choice of a goodie, or bonus points. I can get a goodie anywhere, so I took the bonus points. On top of that, I still got a cookie and a bottle of water. It was a good cookie! The room was very good, up to IHG standards. A large room, everything was spotless, a fridge, a microwave, a walk-in shower, a desk to work or do stuff with my laptop, if you don't have a laptop with you, but you still need to do some work, they have computers available in the lobby The Wi-Fi was plenty fast, and there were plenty of places to charge my gear. There was a couch with a hide a bed, although I didn't need it, and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. I got a good night sleep. Breakfast was excellent in the morning, as I always get at Holiday Inn express. Sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, a pancake machine, as well as their excellent biscuits and gravy. They also had the cinnamon rolls which they are known for. A good way to start the day and get me going. They also have the coffee machine, where they don't even grind the beans, until you push the button for your cup of coffee. Top-notch. I had a great stay, and I would stay here again when I am passing thruMedford without a doubt . Thanks!

I normally stay at IHG Holiday Inn Express locations when I travel as I'm a platinum rewards member and get points for future stays and free room upgrades. This location was easy enough to find with GPS, but other wise just go south on Center Drive and when you see the Walmart on the right, turn left and go down the little street to the hotel. Plenty of parking available. We arrived a little too early and the rooms weren't ready yet, official check in is 3 pm, but we thought we might get in early, so we waited over at the Starbucks right near the hotel. I get a call the rooms are ready, so the front desk is on the ball! As the crew unloads all our stuff out of the big rental SUV, I do the check in and it all goes smooth. We get our keys and go to our rooms. My room was clean and nice and the first thing I check is the WiFi. It's working fine and I can get work done. The connection is fast enough to stream Netlix or whatever, but I gotta work so no time to stream stuff! The rest of the room is clean and the bathroom is fine and everything works and no stray hairs that weren't my color! The coffee maker worked fine as well. Breakfast is included n the mornings and it was hot and tasty as usual and the selection was just about the same as all the Holiday Inn Express locations. Hot choices as well as breads to toast and cereal if you want that. This is a good location of the Holiday Inn Expresses and I'd stay here again. None of my crew had any complaints either.
