Dr. Shawn Harris is amazing! When I first went to him, I told him I had a favorite acupuncturist and had been to several others in the past and no one could compare to my favorite... but I no longer live where he is. Shawn took the challenge so to speak and I was completely amazed at the time he spent asking about the things that were hurting and explaining everything to me. He has an extensive knowledge in what he does and after the first treatment... I knew he was now my new favorite. I was in such bad shape and after a few treatments I was able to get back to my life and finally... GET SOME SLEEP! I had several treatments and then I stopped going for awhile and found myself going backwards again. I went back to him in pain and hardly able to walk and he did his magic! I have been in excruciating sciatic pain for 2+ months. I went to ER & sat for hours, without being seen. Then when it got where I couldn't handle it anymore, the ambulance took me to the ER again. They gave me Dilaudid and sent me home & made an appointment to see my primary in 3 weeks!! A neighbor told me about Rolfing, which I decided to try immediately. This worked & gave me some relief and I do recommend it, however, it takes a number of treatments to get complete relief. My husband begged me to try acupuncture, so I called Rogue Acupuncture and was fortunate they had a cancellation & I was able to get in within a couple of hours. Dr. Harris was so caring and gentle, asking not only about the sciatic, but my overall well-being. I left with "barely" a tinge in my low back. By the time I got home, I was 98% pain-free.
