But for now, just could not find 'the' one succulent that keeps demanding my attention. :-) But daughter did good -- and purchased a large, cocktail (martini) glass, and small 'air plant' to go with it -- as a "small & cool" upcoming birthday gift for a friend. The order form did state my birthday correctly. There was a knock at my door mid-morning a few days before my birthday. I didn't get to the door in time, but when I opened it, a flower arrangement was on my doorstep, with a birthday message for me from my wonderful son. The problem was...it wasn't my birthday. It was several days before my birthday. It was very awkward and disappointing for my son who had tried so hard to make this an amazingly special occasion - he spent money and time and effort researching florists, deciding on the arrangement and placing the order. It was a big deal to him and he dreamed of how special it would be for me. But it wasn't special - it was really awkward and disappointing. When I contacted Posy a few days later, they said I was mistaken and the flowers were delivered on my birthday. I reiterated again that no, I was quite certain that they arrived BEFORE the planned delivery date of my birthday. They said I was wrong. I would never EVER shop here again. They messed up the deliver date, broke my son's heart, put me in a very awkward position with my son, and called me a liar...twice. I wasn't even asking for compensation - I just contacted them to let them know and find out what happened. I'm so amazed and appalled at this horrible customer experience that I feel compelled to write this review.

When I wasn't home, they dumped them in front of the gate to my development for anyone to walk off with. They didn't include a card or address, other than a small card promoting their business. A neighbour saw them, brought them in, and had to call Blumen to ask which house they were for. I still have no idea who sent them, though, so I can't thank them for the gift. Pretty incredible that a florist can't be bothered to include a card with the flowers, or even to put an address on them if they're going to leave them out in public rather than delivering them.

Last year, the flowers were impressive. The bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were packed with roses and other flowers. This year, the arrangements were just as beautiful. Guests commented on the bridal and table flowers which had a vintage look with hydrangeas, roses, and calla lilies. I would highly recommend this florist as one of the best in the Coquitlam area.
