The walls were stipped to the studs, and there is a full unfinished basement, so it was easy access. Still, i paid him over $9200.00. He did very good mostly, until I asked him to correct the placement of a dishwasher outlet. For a fee he would. I already paid someone else to move the outlets for the range and the microwave, but thought he should do this one with no added cost. Placement of appliance outlets is something any electrician should know...I looked it up and they are all the same. Also, this guy also asks you to give him a tip a on every invoice. I find this very insulting to low income waiters, hairdressers, and others who are traditionally tipped. I also dad to clean up after him. Now I'm wondering if he did everything else okay or if my house is going to burn down. Just read the response. I paid the tile guy about $8000 for a tub sized shower. There are places where the grout is missing, lots of tiles are NOT flush, a hole was put in the aluminum trim, the front of the shower is about an inch out of square, the light fixture in the shower was not fully installed, and there are some chipped tiles. No..not happy, but I paid him. I belive a customer has the right to expect a good job, and the tile was not. Rhododendren Electric did a good job, but their follow through is bad. And he will do everything possible to avert a negative review, which mine is not...just middle of the road. Just downgraded due to his false and slanderous response. Really, he's an okay electrician, but he seems much more concerned about his yelp review than he does about satisfying his customers. And, his response was reprehensible.

We went ot Rogers Company in Cambridge, OH who provided us with the quote we wanted and also an additional quote of new Furnace and A/C. Rogers installed our new a/c and furnace for 1/2 the price Ables had told us over the phone for new Furnace & A/C. To our surprise Ables sent us a bill for 2 service visits to our house. We called Spoke with billing they did not understand why we were being billed for an estimate said they would have it taken care of and removed. 1 month later we received another invoice saying now we were past due on our invoice. He explained what we thought was wrong which was that our main breaker blew. The woman advised that they would send someone out when someone became available. Shortly after that, I asked my fiancé if they did free estimates, but he failed to ask so he called back. The woman said the guy was on his way and they did give free estimates. When the guy got here, all he did was test the main breaker and told my fiancé that he would not give a free estimate, but instead it was time and material job so we were either hiring him or we weren't. Not knowing what we were getting into, we declined the services. Still, no fees were discussed over the phone or in person. Today we got a bill in the mail for $101.90 for a one hour service call and mileage. We called because the guy literally did nothing, especially compared to the guy who came after that from TS Electric, tested the breaker box, junction box, meter box, and outside ground wires AND gave us a FREE estimate. He said that they do free estimates, but claimed that they do not do free estimates for that type of job. Mind you, when my fiancé called the second time, before the electrician arrived at our house and asked about the free estimate, they were well aware of what "type" of job it was. He repeated the same excuse multiple times and claimed that they had to pay their guy for coming out, but they never once communicated any fees over the phone or in person. He also never once answered why it was communicated to us that they would give a free estimate just to come out, refuse to give a free estimate and charge us for doing nothing.
