I had been looking at new cars and already had a quote of $1100 for a trade in when this happend. Let's face it ,how can you trade in a car with the engine check light on and 176,000 miles nor drive it to a dealership holding your breath the car won' t stop! I went on line and had several quotes from junkyard people of $180, $308, and $480. I have taken good care of my car, oil checks on time and always asked my mechanic if anything needed to be fixed. I called Max Auto Wrecking to get a quote and a service person happened to be in my area today and stopped by to give me a quote! I really felt he was honest, checked my car out and gave me a price of $700 which I felt was fair and took the car away on the spot!. The price was good because I was not comfortable driving it any where with the check light on! I would definitely recommend Max Auto Wrecking!

I called Timo's on Wednesday to inquire about some Lexus parts for my wife's car and said I'd be in…read moreon Saturday. She had hit a road hazard in the dark on Hwy 1. The impact destroyed the driver side fog light and it's wiring to connect it, the plastic and fabric wheel well arch liners on the front and rear driver's side, and the front alloy wheel got scraped up badly. There was ZERO paint/body/mechanical/structural damage to the car. ZERO. When I arrived on Saturday morning, I spoke to Maribel at the front desk and said I needed some Lexus parts. She immediately said "Oh, you called a few days ago" and she reached over to a small file box on her desk and pulled out a sheet of paper (among the many pieces) and referenced the information from our call - I was blown away that she had recorded the info and kept it close. Maribel said yes, they have the car I need for parts in a nearby lot. She called a team member who came back about 30 minutes later with the car on a forklift and he set it down right near the office/entrance. I removed all the parts that I needed from the front area of the car and another team member had to return with a forklift to lift the rear of the car to get the remaining parts I needed - that process took probably 45 min. for someone to come and lift the rear of the car. The forklift driver removed the parts I needed in about 7-8 minutes. In total I paid $172 for all the parts I needed. The body shop wanted $4,500 to repair the car. Yes, you read that correctly, $4,500. I restored the car to original condition. The whole process took about 2.25 hours at Timo's with a lot of standing around and waiting for help to move the car around. They are busy and I understand. Was it worth it? HELL YES! Thank you Maribel and Timo's! I'll be back if I need more parts.

I needed to have four speakers replaced and I upgraded from 5.25" speakers to 6.5" I also requested the stereo deck cover upgraded and multiple plugs be installed around the boat, last minute at drop off. Jesse and his team had to drill through fiber glass and three layers of ply wood. The job ended up taking four hours longer than anticipated and Jesse still honored to original guesstimated price, although no promises were made and he didn't have to do that. I wad absolutely blown away by the work done to my boat. The team went above and beyond by cleaning up old messed up wiring performed by a different local shop.
