We love the program generally for little kickers. However the place is run down. Starting from the…read moremoment you arrive. The grounds look like a run down abandoned building, not one you would want to take your child to. The field is in poor shape. The equipment used for the children is falling apart to the point where there are holes and sharp edges on stuff. It's unfortunate that they charge so much, and fail to invest back into the business and program. They just raised the prices, and I still don't see an improvement.

They don't care about their business, they have never put money back into the building. You can really tell. The HVAC is TERRIBLE. Either insanely cold or WAY WAY too hot. Get this, if you need a penny/jersey because you don't have a white or black "enough" shirt, then a rude front counter person will direct you to where they are. How are they stored? With one string that loops through the armhole of 5000+ jersey? What idiot thought this was a good idea? If you never interact with the staff, and hopefully get a decent ref you will have decent time. Keep in mind I have been patronizing this "facility" for over 15 years. Some suggestions...Stop being greedy, and start being nice! Update your field, get staff that is actually motivated. How about charging fair prices and not marking up just because you can? Get it together.

Where does one begin? I have so many complaints for the North Portland Basketball franchise. The…read morewebsite says they vet their coaches, train them and make them pass a background check. Well I see this is a lie. They asked my partner to volunteer for our kids 3rd grade youth basketball team to help with drills only to reveal that he is now co-coach. Then they tell him the location is at a HS at 3:10pm. We show up the third week after making the waitlist and paying $170 only to see that the practice was at 2pm at the middle school. We then read the emails to see if we missed the memo and nothing and yet we notice an earlier email where the head coach complained about not knowing anything about basketball and the athletic director(?) Marcus responding with, "no worries because now my partner(?) is going to help out?!. Hmmm, I feel confused as I need to clarification... is this a scam or a co-op? We tried to email and call that Sunday. Hoping to get our money back. I will update with a better review if Marcus returns our emails and our money. Buyer beware!

Teams are so unevenly distributed and they split teams by age rather than just by grade so my boys are 10 and in the 10-12 category. Some of the 12 year olds were 12-15" taller than my boys who are very average height. The refs are disinterested and its questionable if they receive any training because they don't seem to call obvious fouls and double dribbles. Their mission statement saying they teach children good sportsmanship is a joke. My child got hit, pushed, bumped onto the ground and hit in the eye multiple times by 1 specific player and he walked away smiling with no apology. Most recent game the opposing team had a player crying on the floor while game just continued. The other coach didn't call a timeout and refs didn't stop the game. Our coach had to call a timeout. Never doing i9 sports again. Should have listened to my friend who warned me how bad it was so now I'm warning everyone else.
