At my daughter's 2-year checkup, this doctor, Mr. Peter Harris, barely even did an actual exam. Yet he felt completely comfortable telling me my child was "severely autistic" and would never live a normal life, go to a regular school, or be around other kids. Who says that to a parent--especially without a proper evaluation by a true ASD professional? It was cruel, reckless, and completely inappropriate. I left that appointment terrified and heartbroken. No parent should ever be spoken to like that based on what felt like a rushed, lazy assessment. Thankfully, I trusted my gut and did NOT follow his referral. I paid extensively out of pocket for an independent evaluation, by a world renowned doctor, and guess what? My daughter is NOT autistic. She simply has a speech delay and some oral motor issues; things that are manageable and common. So not only was Mr. Peter Harris wrong, he was wildly wrong. To make it even worse, they had the nerve to call me months afterwards to make sure I went through with their referral--like they were trying to double down on their misdiagnosis, or receive a nice kickback from UC Davis. This bargain bin of medical clinics throws around serious labels like it's nothing, with zero regard for the emotional damage it causes families, especially mothers. It's fear-mongering, plain and simple. If you care about your child, get a second opinion, trust your gut, and think twice before trusting this clinic and doctor. No one should have to go through the anxiety and distress that I endured.

Dr. Michele was wonderfully caring, respectful, and has a great sense of humor! Ann Marie, the medical assistant is an angel. She listened well, really helped us both, and was such a joy! Waited less than five minutes to be called for initial evaluation, Short wait for X-rays and Mark, the provider, reduced my dislocation in a matter of minutes. Professional, respectful, and all the staff I came into contact with very friendly. I'll spare you the details, but: despite being fairly busy, i was back in the examination room with a nurse within about 10 minutes, with a fantastic PA after another 5, and 25 minutes later i was out the door having received a thorough exam, xrays, a shot, a diagnosis, a detailed treatment plan with all necessary referrals for specialists and tests, plus 2 Rxs called in. Staff were friendly, courteous, and good listeners, Exceeded expectations.
