Great shop, staff is extremely helpful and great customer service. They have a good selection of used clubs and the staff was very excited to help me find the clubs that work for me and overall a 10/10 experience read more

Paul and Cathy were beyond helpful! I was running late for my tee time and needed shoes / driver. They were able to accommodate me right away and got me in and out in no time (I was in rush and they were able to get me in and out in under 10min with exactly what I needed). Best service ever read more

Shout out to Scott Delameter as always, and his assistants (he has 2 now) -- all of whom are hard working, knowledgeable and most of all, have great customer service. I came by today to choose a suitable putter shaft for my fancy new Jean Baptiste putter head. Scott helped me determining the appropriate length, the right lie angle ... all that jazz ! Love him! Scott is the reason why I drive all the way from Temecula to Palm Desert every single time I need golfsmithing done. Won't trust anybody else. read more

Nice clean store. Easy to get around. Super good putting green in the center surrounded by putters to try out. NO PRESSURE EVER. Everything low key and friendly. Lots of sale items to choose from. Today I bought a glove and dozen balls. Chatted with the guys about the sitcom Stick. Brought in dog and he liked sitting on putting green. Grabbed a cup of water on the way out. read more

I shopped the original store in Santa Ana, CA for many years. Always happy with their selection, pricing and service. And, good solid repair people working in their repair department. I found the Van's golf shop (part of Roger Dunns) in north Scottsdale to be smaller but with excellent people and products. read more

Roger Dunn Indio store is by far the best golf shop in the area if you're looking for golf equipment and accessories. Golf club trade-in allowance is extremely fair and reasonable. The managers (Robert and Rico) and staff are extremely, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive to all your golf needs. I highly recommend going there first before any other golf store! read more

i Had heard that the Roger Dunn in Indio, had a large inventory of used clubs for Seniors so I drove for 90 minutes hoping that was true. Their selection was okay, but Royce said that the best time to come for used Senior Clubs was in the spring, he added that by September October their stock is always depleted. Anyway I went there looking for a specific driver, and Royce found it for me. Royce escorted me to the hitting area and I began hitting balls, but the results weren't what I had hoped for, so Royce pointed out certain numbers that were out of the normal ranges, and he went and picked out about three different drivers for me, he made some adjustment to correct what he determined I needed. Royce worked very hard and kept tweaking the Drivers until all of my numbers for my swing were great. He had me hitting a different driver that I had also been considering and I went from hitting my own driver from 190 - 212 with no roll out to hitting 242 yards with the club he switched me too, that's thirty to fifty yards further(WOW). I think I will get a little more distance when I get comfortable and relaxed with the new club. Royce didn't try to change my swing at all, he just found good drivers that fit my swing and used my numbers to make adjustments that got all of my numbers in the good ranges. Based on his hard work I think I'm maxing out my distance now. I've always doubted that the driver I was using was under performing and that if I could get the right club I could get better results, but everywhere I went no one would give my any help, I thought the only way I would find the right club was to just get lucky, but what I really needed was to find the right Help and Royce was the guy that gave it to me. Royce you didn't act above me or annoyed buy me, I felt like you just wanted to get me into the right club, Thank you so much you changed my game. You did so much work for me, you didn't tell me all the whys but I could tell that in your head you were figuring out solutions and then solved my problems and it was the first time I've had fun in one of those hitting booths. Hey everyone If your willing to make the drive I highly recommend going to Royce, seriously I walked out of their not hoping, not thinking, but knowing I finally had the perfect club for my game, and that is worth so much. Keep up the great work. Ray B. BTW I don't usually write reviews. read more

I want to give a huge shoutout to the staff at Roger Dunn in Indio led my store manager Matt, club fitter Julian, Kevin, Richard the club master regripper, and Robert. These guys made me feel like a "valued" customer. I had a horrible experience at the PGA golf store where even though I was given a restaurant style buzzer to get fitted for clubs they ignored me for over an hour. I per witnessed him help 2 other customers even though I was "next." I refuse to patronize an establishment that doesn't offer at least decent customer service. Matt and his staff in 3 minutes had me feeling like a million bucks. I will definitely return for all my golfing needs at River Dunn. Sincerely, Patrick Abram Sr read more

Roger Dunn golf shop is located on Highway 111 in Indio. I had no idea the shop was here!!! I found it when I needed to buy a birthday gift for my friend who loves golf. The staff is super friendly and the store is huge. There's so many cool things to shop for. I highly recommend it. Thank you so much Kevin for helping me out, you and the staff are amazing. read more

Very helpful and available staff. Great selection of new and used clubs that are in great shape. Generous return policy for store credit if you are not happy. Was pleased with my visit. Far superior to walking into a big box sporting goods store and buying equipment. Highly recommend. read more

I had a great experience at the Roger Dunn Golf Shop in Indio, CA. Ryln was the sales associate who assisted me in purchasing new irons and woods. Ryln was very knowledgeable on all the products that Roger Dunn offers and worked with me using a launch monitor to ensure I purchased the right clubs for me. He was very patient and took his time with me to ensure I was comfortable with the clubs selected for me which produced the most distance and accuracy. Matt V, the store manager, was one of the most professional managers I have met in the golf industry. He is very personal and knowledgeable, and you can tell he takes pride in his work as you can see it in the way he deals with customers. His focus on customer service impressed me the most as I have not seen this level of service at any other golf shops in the Coachella Valley. I have also had club repairs performed by Scott in the past and he is very knowledgeable regarding golf shafts. He provides the best and quickest club repairs of any other golf shop in the area. The service at this location is so much better than the larger superstores and other local golf shops. I would highly recommend Roger Dunn to anyone who is interested in purchasing clubs or getting their clubs repaired. You won't regret it. read more

Personable. Professional. Knowledgeable. AWESOME PLACE. Impressed with customer service and the genuinely nice people. My 9 iron shaft was broken by the airline baggage smashers, and we were planning to play a lot of golf. A golf pro friend that lives in Palm Desert said, "Take it into Roger Dunn. They are incredibly good and they won't overcharge you." He was right. The repair guy looked up the specs on my graphite shaft and found a nearly identical flex in a shaft he had quick access to. I shopped around while they fixed my club, and found some golf "essentials" I didn't realize I needed... Great selection! So impressed with the people and services at Roger Dunn! Thank you, guys!! I'll be back! read more

Been shopping here forever. Just got the worst service and attitude possible. Waiting twenty minutes by the empty bays the assistant manager comes up to me no smile no greeting "what are we doing". Last thing he wanted to do was help be I left will never shop there again and I buy multiple sets a year for me and my family read more

Bret is the man! What a great shopping experience! Walked into couple golf shops in Palm Springs and either they ignored me or gave me a 20min dissertation and confused me completely. As a beginner I didn't know what I was looking at and was intimidated by the shopping experience in some of the other bigger shops in Palms Springs. Bret set me up in one of the bays looked at my swing gave me some easy to follow tips. We looked at several iron options and settled on an excellent used forgiving set. Adjusted the length for my long arms as well! Bret went onto showing me excellent used woods and irons. Bret set me up in a bay and and gave me some of tips on hitting these as well! I ended up with an great starter set of used clubs! Thanks Bret for making that customer connection! 5 stars for this shopping experience. read more

Right away I am going to tell you to ask for Scott for a fitter. I live on Maui and I have not found a good fitter here. So when I need clubs I fly back to Carlsbad. Then you have to choose the manufacturer before you swing a club. Scott knows everything! He has been fitting forever and even worked for the manufacturers. He will take the time that is necessary. Also you get to try out all different clubs. read more

I've had really good experiences here and have spent over $1000 in the past 6 months. But when I went to get help on a cracked driver shift they required a receipt even though I'd bought it at a different Roger Dunn. I was then abruptly told that the warranty had "expired" so I'd have to get a new one. Called Callaway and was told they or any other golf shop could send it in to me. This store owner didn't seem to care so I walked out of the store upset and disappointed with their attitude. Too bad because I thought it was a good place but will definitely think twice before going back. read more

This golf shop is without a doubt the very best in the valley. Scott who works in the shop is outstanding. He fitted me with a golf shaft a year ago.....OMG this man is a genius. Scott used to help with our club adjustments in Newport Beach. So glad we found him again here at RD, albeit in Indio. Worth the drive to have him check lie & loft on our irons. Was in town for the Labor Day weekend on a golf trip and had the chance to get my wedge shaft cut down. The staff was very helpful and friendly. read more

Are you a new golfer and interested in buying a set of clubs? Go to Roger Dunn! They will be happy to criticize your stance, criticize your grip even criticize your swing but you will not walk out of there with clubs. You're not good enough for them and they will not waste their precious time to sell you anything. So I went to the PGA Superstore in Palm Desert. The nicest, friendliest people you could ever meet and I bought myself a driver - TaylorMade Sim2. Going back next week to buy a 3 wood and possibly a set of irons. Thank you Roger Dunn for helping me find what I was looking for. Keep up the good work! read more

I needed to replace my 20-year-old Callaways and stopped in at Roger Dunn's in Indio. I was introduced to Scott D. who, I learned has a tremendous amount of knowledge about golf clubs, developed over his career in various sectors of the golf business. Scott set me up with several different manufacturers 7 irons on one of the swing analyzers and I hit away. He came back and we worked together to decide which club (Callaway Rogue) was best for me. I then hit different clubs from that set of clubs and felt good about them but had run out of time for the day and had to leave. I had been looking at demo clubs. When I returned a few days later the demos had been sold. I tried a couple of other models, but really liked the Rogues best. As Callaway has discontinued manufacturing Rouges, Scott had to get on his computer to find another set in the Roger Dunn system. He had them in a couple of days. A full set of brand new, great looking Rogue irons and hybrids. Scott was able to locate some gently used Rogue woods in the Indio store and I left with a great feeling and great looking set of new clubs. The pricing was very fair as well. I also left with a great feeling about Roger Dunn and Scott in particular. Everyone in the store was cordial and friendly. Scott as you can tell was personally involved and really cared about getting me the best clubs for me. I'll be going back to Roger Dunn for all my golfing needs. I enjoyed a great customer service experience. I believe you will too. read more

Having just moved to the area, I was looking for a new place to buy used golf clubs. I was happy to find a familiar place. I was used yo golfmart in San Diego, and this is under the same ownership. They offer a 90 day return policy on everything , even used equipment. That's amazing... I was looking for a new wedge. I was soon set up with 8 versions of a 50° from Cleveland and titleist. All used. I was never pressured to look at other brands and never pushed to buy new. I was able to use the launch monitor to get responses on all the wedges. Scott even checked out the lie and angle for me as well as my swing and made adjustments to custom fit two wedges for me. I will definitely be returning!! read more
