It seemed…read morelike he had a plan but there was some miscommunication and it took months of tests I was unaware of (and time off from work) to finally get this L3-L5 ablation done. I was told if I have no pain after these tests due to the numbing medication they inject near your nerves you are a candidate for this nerve ablation that should give relief for 6-18 months. I finally had it done in December of 2025. I had some minor relief, maybe 10-20% and now I am much worse. It is February. His solution is now to burn nerves in my vertebrae. Between the miscommunication, the office constantly trying to call you and reschedule your appointments and the feeling like you are on just a conveyor belt with other patients getting the same procedures done, I would not recommend anyone go here. I hated this whole process and now I am worse. I can't get that time and money back, God only knows if my body will heal.

When I had pain in my back it took only three visits and my back felt wonderful. He also told me that the root cause was probably at the computer. I lowered my work chair at work by an inch and have not had any issues since. We recommened Dr Stretch to our neighbor which works consturction. After only a couple of visits he told our neighbor that he was not the doctor for his situation. I strongly recommend Dr Stretch and his approach to pain management.

I got to my appt filled out new pt forms and my appt with the doctor which lasted a good hour or so. The receptionist came in the room and helped with the ultrasound but not once did anyone mention before or during my appt that "oh by the way your insurance is not going to cover this appt", which would have been nice to know up front so I could have canceled beforehand. So much to my surprise when I go to check out I'm told I owe 210.00. I was not prepared to pay this amount of money and feel this was totally unfair. I think the staff needs to get more experience with insurance verification and be more up front with new pts. I don't have the money to pay for a follow-up appt so the first appt has become a waste of money. Be very careful what you're told about your insurance. Not happy.

This physician very cleverly delayed my treatment by injecting me with a medicine that did not work, sending me for therapy for 6 sessions, and giving me a "test" shot that did work for 2 days. He did xrays and MRIs. Gave me four or five office visits for nothing. Ultimately he said that Medicare must pre-approve steroid shots. So he did not honor my appointment for a shot. When I questioned him and showed my frustration, he told me to take Tremadol every four hours and walked away. I called Medicare and they said that steroid shots for pain are preapproved for pain if given in a clinic or doctor's office. At that point, I got the message of all the "delays" in my treatment and canceled my treatment. No one after that, ever called me to ask how I was doing. I went to my previous doctor and all my problem were solved. I wish I could give Dr. Neal Shah less than one star! Beware!!
