Since then, the IRS has sent multiple rejection letters regarding the amended return, and the issue remains unresolved. Every time I follow up, there seems to be another excuse, but no real resolution. Communication has been poor throughout the process. I rarely receive updates and have had to repeatedly contact the firm myself just to find out what's happening. For the amount I paid, I expected knowledgeable representation, proactive communication, and timely resolution of my tax matter. Instead, I have spent years waiting for an outcome while receiving repeated IRS rejection notices and no clear path to fixing the problem. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Delerme CPA. I hope they improve their communication, accountability, and follow-through so other clients do not have a similar experience.

Instead of sending them, he asked who needed them, and when I said it was just for my records, he told me to have the bank contact him directly. That response didn't sit right with me, so I kept asking for copies. After repeated requests, I discovered the truth: my taxes had never actually been filed. Years of meetings, years of payments, and nothing to show for it but a mess I now have to clean up. I've since learned I'm not the only client this happened to. Another business owner I know went through the same thing with him during Covid. If you're looking for a bookkeeper or tax preparer, look elsewhere.
