With both of our kids spending Thanksgiving with our ex-spouses, we found ourselves with the rare chance to travel without the kids. Destinations by Design did not fail to impress us! Perfect customer service, and their suggestions for not only a destination (Maya Riviera), but also right down to the specific restaurants, tours guides, and what to avoid, were spot on! We had a beautiful and memorable four day escape, and came home recharged and "Thankful" that we chose DBD! Highly recommend them!

Garavanian Travel did all of the travel bookings for my June 2010 honeymoon…read more I initially had no idea where I wanted to go on my honeymoon but knew I wanted to go through a travel agency. I work in Chelmsford and had driven by Garavanian many times. Gabe was very helpful, giving me more literature than I could go through on various locations in the geographic areas I was interested in. With his help, I eventually selected the Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia. He was very helpful in giving me all sorts of advice, as he had been to this specific resort several times as well as most of the other places we spoke of. He did a great job of walking me through the merits of each room/suite I was interested in and got me a great deal on a suite for our 2 week stay. He was great with the airfare as well - constantly emailing me when deals would come through via the various airlines that flew to St. Lucia. It was nice to go through a travel agent that actually had first hand knowledge of the resort where we were headed. Any question he didn't have an answer to he would call them up while I was there to get me as much information as he could. Garavanian Travel is a Sandals preferred vendor so they do get some nice pricing at the resorts. I also told Gabe of a few requests we had while we were at the resort (including my husbands birthday) that were taken care of while we were there. It was obvious that he did a great job of communicating with the resort. I'm not sure how they do with non-Sandals related travel but in this situation Garavanian really did a great job for us. Any trip we take in the future whether it be a Sandals trip or not, I am first going to check in at Garavanian.

Like most people, I assumed I…read morecould plan such a trip on my own using Expedia or Booking.com, however I was immediately overwhelmed and opted to use a travel agent. A quick inquiry into Vacationisms.com was met with an immediate response from Sara. She was able to book us a 6 night stay at an all inclusive resort bundled with airfare and private transportation for hundreds less than other DIY travel sites. The process was surprisingly stress free and very streamlined. Sara was very responsive to countless emails, texts, and phone calls. Aside from the internal guilt of potentially wasting someone's time, there was never any pressure to book a trip (quick anecdote: I had previously inquired with Vacationisms about a trip shortly after graduating college, around Aug 2015. After about 20 or so emails back and forth with numerous quotes and ideas, I decided it wasn't economical at the time and stopped responding). Somehow Sara remembered this (presumably my name...) yet was still just as friendly and eager to help me plan a trip. We will be sure to use Sara for all our future trips! I would highly recommend using Vacationisms for your next trip!
