They were professional yet very personable and made us very comfortable for what would have been an unnatural setting for us. They were able to incorporate all the things that we wanted and found just the perfect place to take our engagement photos. I loved every single moment of it! They're great at providing suggestions on where to stand/how to pose. We also took photos at a park on the day of the wedding and the photos came out gorgeous. All the photos were so great that it has been so hard to pick only a few for our wedding album! (Sorry guys - It's still on our to do's! My mom has not stopped asking me about it since this day!) The results were more than I expected. He approached us very professionally, such as detailed advice and preparation process before shooting date and since photography is my usual hobby, I could trust that the equipment he uses is quite expensive and professional. Above all, various concepts such as pose photos, candid photos and directing photos were carried out throughout the photo shoot. Even during the shooting, he led me and my wife well so that I wouldn't be nervous, and I was once again impressed by how they prepared thoroughly by requesting information about the venue on the day of the wedding in advance. I signed a package for an outdoor shoot and a wedding day shoot, and he devoted himself to shooting every location. Specially from the makeup preparation process to the first look shoot at the dress shop in wedding day. What a disappointment! For years I've recommended Paul Gregory after great experiences in the past…read more I was so excited to finally be able to afford to go back to him for new headshots. I was having 3 looks done for $745. The session lasted for 4 hours where I felt trapped and unconscious. Not just the weird poses but also the non interest in me. There was no guidance except for "don't do that, it's ugly". I couldn't wait to get out of there. Still had hopes for the pictures though having had such great ones in the past. When I got the pictures the disappointment was complete. There wasn't a single picture I could use. The lighting was flat or too dark ( he calls it dramatic). The makeup was so uneven. In some photos I had a weird green tint to my face. I look heavier than I am in many of the pictures. And I looked how I had felt, uncomfortable. The best picture was on par with his worst last time. I did contact Paul to get my money refunded after I can't use any of the pictures. He got back to me pretty much telling me I was wrong and that he could do a reshoot. I let him know I don't feel comfortable doing that. No answer. I feel a reshoot would be absolutely useless. It would be like going back to a restaurant you got food poisoning at.

He is very in tune with your needs and wants and knows how to take photos that pop. Paul was very nice, personable, professional and it was very much a collaborative experience. I brought a friend along and I can't thank the two of them enough! I always feel awkward taking headshots and Paul was very patient with me and made me feel extremely comfortable. The turnaround for photos is very fast. He sent me two links (one for my whole session and another with his faves) within 3 days. He also retouched two photos with the links he sent and I was absolutely blown away by the best headshot of myself that I've ever seen in my life. It took me two days and about 10 opinions to try to narrow down my photos to the top 5 I wanted to get retouched because there were about 60 shots I couldn't pick from. Do yourself a favor and hit up Paul next time you need new headshots. P.S. He has this cute dog named Dahlia and she loves giving people kisses.
