I came in for a staph infection months ago and am $1,000 in the hole. Just got the exact same infection almost 4 months later, used K Health one time appointment for $40 and got the exact same prescription. Took about 15 minutes and didn't even have to leave my house. Yes, Cody Regional Health drained it for me and got lab tests done on the fluid when I didn't ask and refused to tell me how much it would cost at the time - probably to avoid confrontation or me going somewhere else. I pleaded and pleaded and they did not offer any wiggle room on the bill. My insurance wouldn't cover it because I was out of state. Now I'm paying $50/month for the next 2 years. I called and said I didn't request the lab tests and their response was that we need to do lab testing in order to give you a prescription. That's obviously a lie because I just got one by sending a picture of my infection on my phone. If the antibiotics didn't work, they could prescribe me MRSA antibiotics. I can drain the fluid myself and don't need a $400 lab test to tell me if the infection is antibiotic resistant. Would have been nice to get a step by step, hey just so you know if you open this door its going to cost $50 (new patient), ok now when i put these gloves on that another $200, alright $400 to drain this wound, now I'm going to send the pus to a lab and that's another $400. All I needed was a prescription. I guess you live and you learn but I talked to relatives in the area and this place has a reputation to being a holes when it comes to billing. They won't tell you how much it is even after treatment; just tell you it will come in the mail. Now I know why I would have lost it in there. It's a car salesman saying you should buy this car but I won't tell you how much it is until after you sign all the papers. How is this legal? Probably because they know they can just bill the hell out of the insurance companies driving up the price of medical care. That's not a free market. Elected surgeries price drops dramatically over time because of competition - look a lasik. That's the beauty of the free market. Our health care system is fugged. The solution is not health care for all. The solution is free market. Please don't come here even if you have insurance. This place deserves to go out of business. Good day.

However, we found the most amazing help in the most unlikely places. Dr. Rahim Kahn took us in and (completely opposite of most of our experiences)... he took his time. Asked a lot of questions. He even explained things about our condition and how it affects our bodies that we hadn't known. This is a married couple that run this practice and while I've never been treated by his wife, I have seen the clients always leaving with a smile on their face and gleaming with appreciation. Their staff is as friendly and helpful as they are. You aren't a number. You are a friend. You aren't there to keep you sick and suffering, you are there to get adjusted and educated with the goal of being healed and learning how to prevent the things that brought you in. It's refreshing all the way around. If you need a knowledgeable, kind, and trusted family chiropractor- you need to call Family Chiropractic Clinic. Thank you so much for being exactly what we needed at a time nobody else would! One last thing worth a mention... Rahim not only helped my sons and I with our complicated, painful, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome; he saved my life after a Highway head-on accident. Life was already so hard to navigate and honestly, EDS scares off most chiropractors around here. But just before my long awaited appointment, I had been in a Highway head-on accident where an elderly woman drove into me. Despite the emergency responders reporting zero breath sounds and calling out life flight (who were already on another call and headed back so asked to have me taken to the ER and they would meet me in CT), that ER doctor treated me like crap and ultimately sent away the life flight team advising all I had was whiplash. My first appointment with Dr. Kahn was already scheduled for a couple days after the accident. I called his office to let them know about the accident and told him I could reschedule if he was more comfortable with that. He replied something along the lines of, "no way! Sounds like you could use the help more now than I ever!" Am I ever glad I did. Dr. Khan identified my broken sternum and noted possible multiple rib fractures and concerns of spinal fractures. He taught me to avoid certain positions that would allow the broken sternum to slip out of place and puncture my heart or lungs. Many of these being positions I routinely used until the accident (hurt to bad to). When I called my doctor to help me get these issues addressed, we faced blow-back from the doctors needed stating that I was fine, the ER reports said so. Dr Kahn helped me to get a radiologist that wasn't associated with that hospital to diagnose the breaks as well as review the ER images... where he noted all were present on those scans. So, not only did Dr. Kahn treat a complicated patient- he helped me to get the healthcare I needed and had been refused prior to his advocation. All of this, at the very least, saving me from many painful hardships and even saving my life by advising positions to avoid. I couldn't drive and was advised it was likely best to avoid vehicles all together for awhile. I had to sleep in certain positions ironically avoid displacing the break. Without him, I would have suffered being told I was fine while my sternum, ribs, spine were destroyed. I owe this chiropractor my life and quality of. Thank you Rahim!! You are a God send! I highly recommend this chiropractor clinic! 100% perfect score as a provider.

My husband had a cracked tooth. Jeremy Hill said it had to have a crown. When he was installing…read morethe crown it didn't fit at first, so it had to be sent back to the lab and reworked. The crown was then cemented in. My husband complained to me about it hurting for 3 months. We are snowbirds so we went to our local dentist who is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. We were told that it was NOT necessary to crown the tooth. There are newer methods which keeps the integrity of the tooth. Since the crown didn't fit and was painful, my husband had to have a new crown. My husband has been happy and not had any pain since.
