We went here before heading to Walmart. They asked if we had reservations we did not. They were still able to see us. It's inside the hotel so it's kinda nice. Low lit, but tables are separated so you don't hear other people's conversations. The food was good. I really enjoyed the soup. My Son really liked his meal. Big city drinks in a small town So we came up here from Tampa Florida and this cute, tiny town was such a culture shock. I'll be honest I found this place as I was simply trying to find a nice upscale bar to have an old fashioned at. They delivered, apologize for the lack of photo! Our bartender was very nice and attentive, she was experienced and so after our first round we let her do her magic and had some very tasty cocktails! Ended up with a very tasty take on an espresso martini (they do make the espresso fresh FYI) One mentionable is earlier in the day they have happy hour which does not serve the regular menu, only appetizers. So keep that in mind. But, the finger foods were nice to snack on and tasted good, but as I said we came for the drinks and were very happy with the results. read more

We started with the bacon wrapped scallops and they were so tasty and perfectly cooked. Hubby had the lobster bisque that's was also quite tasty. I ordered the lobster roll and fries and hubby got the caprese chicken, which caused some extra waiting time. Frankly, the lobster roll was underwhelming. It was a great amount of lobster but absolutely no seasoning. The caprese chicken was great and very tasty. the asparagus was cooked to perfection. Service was great, the waitress was attentive and cheery. The ambiance is a little strange to me but probably great for car lovers. read more

The food here is excellent as is the ambiance - if you like classic sports cars the vibe is perfect. Our waitress was very nice and prompt, even though the restaurant was very busy. Booked a reservation on their app for valentines day, planned the day around the reservation. Arrived at 2 and the hostess informed us the kitchen closes at 2..... why am I able to book a 2pm reservation if the kitchen is closed? We were up here for the eclipse and had dinner here last night and tonight. Absolutely delicious!! Sunday had a very light menu but Monday's menu was full. Our servers both times were delightful! Great recommendations on drinks and desserts. It's a very chill atmosphere. The tables are a bit small but otherwise quite comfortable. I had the cordon Bleu sandwich last night and the bone in pork chop tonight. Both were excellent! My husband had the fish and chips last night and the chicken caprese tonight. He normally doesn't finish a dish but both plates were completely bare! We're from Portland so when we saw a higher level of dining we anticipated a three figure bill. But both nights, we each had a cocktail, he had an app, which each had a large entree, and I had a dessert. Total for each bill was about $75-85. You can pay far more for far less in the southern part of the state so we were very happy! read more

Took my Mom to Rodney's last minute, knew nothing about it. Service was great, atmosphere nice, and our food was really good. Started with bruschetta then had scallops. Scallops were perfectly cooked, seared but still soft in center. Brussels sprouts side were ok but not amazing, was looking for more pizzazz. Lobster rolls, pork tenderloin and salmon were fantastic. Drinks were relaxer, Moscow mule, wine and a mixer. Service was excellent and the mood throughout was great. Who would imagine that this restaurant in Presque Isle could deliver this level that matches and maybe exceed some of the restaurants that we have visited in Washington DC. The atmosphere is really friendly, the seating comfortable and stylish. Now let's speak about the servers they were spot on, more bread? Sure! Do you need butter for your lobster roll? Traveling through and stopped at Rodney's for dinner! Yum! Truffle Frites 100% must! Nashville Hot Cauliflower, 100% definitely!!! I would go back for those two appetizers alone! He had Jackfruit Chili(a little different idea for us but plant based pleased and so happy there was an option) I had Fish Tacos. Pretty good. Nice blend of flavors. The ambiance just being sat down was wonderful, along with the server being knowledgeable in gluten-free options. The water top offs were superb as well. Food was amazing, from the spinach/artichoke dip which we got with corn chips, imstead of the pita. The downtown burger(those pickled onions added an extra flavor profile) was amazing, as well as having a true Shepherds Pie was so delightful to see. It is hit or miss here. If you are a two top the tables are ridiculously small. Barely room for your dinner plates and drinks. Our server asked if we wanted boxes for our appetizers we were still working on which felt like they wanted to rush you out, Our entrees were done when weren't very far into the apps. Thank god for a windowsill to hold the things that a table should. Went out to dinner last night and my $40 ribeye entree was so disappointing. It's sad when the green beans are more flavorful then the steak. I don't believe the steak was seasoned at all before it was cooked. After enjoying a fabulous meal there a year ago while in PI on business, my boss and I returned last evening. We were not disappointed! We loved the elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. This is my 5th night here and I finally got my best meal in town. Pork loin special with cranberries and 2 sides for $28. I opted for the baked potato and mixed fresh veggies. Pork was perfectly cooked and sooo tender. Plenty of food for me to have leftovers for a nice lunch. read more

I was only visiting presque Isle for the night and I stayed at the northeastland hotel. I was having oral surgery done and all of my upper teeth removed so I couldn't try too much of the food, however my daughter was there with me and she loved the chicken cordon bleu with french fries. All of their product looks fresh not frozen. I ended up getting a bowl of the most delicious lobster bisque anyone could ever ask for... I am talking award-winning, and it came with dinner rolls with butter and oyster crackers. I finished the entire bowl and then an hour later went down for another. The staff was all amazing and the head chef himself who had made the soup ask me how I was feeling every time you saw me because he saw that I had a medical procedure done. The wait staff also asked me how I was feeling and they made me feel like they had been my best friends forever. I ate up in my room with my daughter however the ambiance of the restaurant looked so clean and inviting I would suggest that anybody eat here that gets a chance even if you're not staying at the hotel. If I could give them more than five stars I would... I am an avid fan of Gordon Ramsay and I don't think he would have any issue with this restaurant. read more
