When we arrived the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortabe and we were greeted very nicely and with a smile. Dr. Hunter is wonderfully relaxing and has a wry sense of humor. He listens and does not make you feel rushed. It was obvious he cares about his patients as he spend quite a bit of time questioning my sister on her medical background. Dr. Hunter was very attentive to both of us and his eye contact was wonderful. We were able to schedule the actual procedure for the next day. Again the warm welcome up arrival and no waiting. When the procedure was finished, Dr. Hunter himself (not an assistant) came to get me and we went to recovery to discuss post operative care. My sister was relaxed in a recliner with a warm blanket; the only thing missing was a glass of wine! We were overly pleased and both of us agreed that a review was certainly in order as so many people are dentiphobes so it is important to know there are wonderful doctors out there who care and do an amazing job.

I have referred many many friends and family members to Dr. Hunter and all have had excellent quality care and thorough follow through in all cases. My daughter had teeth pulled before her braces and is going back for wisdom teeth to be pulled after her braces were just removed. Her smile is amazing and she has no complaints about her care. As a parent, I know that she was in reliable hands and I felt that all of her needs were met as well as those of myself asking about her aftercare and follow up appointments. The office is very clean and the staff is cordial and professional. I have nothing but excellent things to say about Dr. Hunter and his practice. He would be happy to meet with you for a consultation prior to having any work done. Book an appointment, I think you will see that he is an amazing oral surgeon and a very caring man with an excellent bedside manner.

My experience with Ardas Family Dental, as I describe it, was a series of unfortunate events…read more I originally reached out to Ardas with a tooth ache that turned into a root canal for what was described to me as one (1) tooth. The root canal was outsourced and upon returning to Ardas, Dr. Kattaura was 'surprised' and commented out loud 'oh, looks like they did two (2) teeth root canal'. Not sure why she was surprised; but moving forward... She created a temporary while they outsourced the permanent crown. The front advised they would call when they received the new crown. Three weeks later, I personally followed up to discover they actually were in receipt of the permanent 10 days prior (would not know this as there was no follow up call from the Technicians; moving forward... We scheduled an appointment and ran through the fitting process to what I thought was fine, however Dr. Kattaura advised I would need a third outsource procedure recessing the gum lines because the permanent would most likely not have a solid fit. When the Dr. pulled the permanent and replaced the temporary until the third procedure was compiling, she curiously commented out loud 'oh, that is actually fitted quite nice and solid'. Fast forward, my Employer assigned me a project on the East coast taking me away for 8+ months. Upon arriving back to Colorado, I called Ardas to schedule the final fitting come to find they do not keep any crowns and the entire process would begin again (and the Tech's advising the cost would be on me. Notation: the monies paid thus far were in the $3,000.00 + range). Moving forward... I perceived a lot of disconnects with what was communicated with my needs vs. with what I received from Ardas and the outsourcing, combined with Dr. Kattaura's curious comments along the way supporting the disconnect, I concluded this procedure at their practice need to close and call it some loss, for lack of a better word. Ended up with Rankin Mingle Dentistry. Dr. Rankin was able to complete all final procedures...from all necessary gum line work (in-house!) and creating the permanent crown (in house!), ALL IN THREE HOURS! In closing I will say: Thank you Rankin Mingle Dentistry for finishing what was apparently so difficult for Ardas Family Dental's experience. I will add, this is just my time and the series of unfortunate events with Ardas Family Dental I experience, let alone the monetary loss. I would encourage anyone to be vigilant and on guard if they patron Dr. Kattaura and her dental practice.
