It felt as though the realtor was participating in shady business as he would always make strange side comments. He was uneducated on the area that I was interested in and made many false statements regarding the downtown Detroit market. I often times had to educate him on what was going on in the city. He defiantly appeared untrustworthy. When it actually came time to me wanting to put in an offer on a home I had researched and present to him it seemed as though he was on the side of the seller. The contract that was to be signed was fishy in that he wanted me to place my signatures in an area that stated I would have to pay him 3% at closing which is not the norm!
