I'm unimpressed with this office. Theyre unfriendly, won't be put out for anything. getting script…read morerefills always requires another appointment. The providers give the vibe annoyed if you take some time to ask extra questions. Giving the impression they've got to get to the next patient. Not a five star rating for a pediatric practice especially.

I had to finally find a new PCP for my aging mother. We were with WFM for a few years. Through 2…read moreexchanges of ownership or management. We mostly saw APRN Lindsey Martinez who is kind and seemed to be a good listener, but after a nurse in training who was shadowing Miss Martinez said something about moms prescription being too large of a dose, APRN Martinez had to stop, go over moms medication notes and indeed admitted "oh yes, that is a mistake" then adjusted the prescription. It was not very reassuring and to be honest I am thankful for that shadowing nurse. Whoever she was she was a godsend because after that visit I began taking notes of our interactions. Researching mom's meds, so I could be informed. On one visit I questioned why mom was on Metformin and Metoprolol when she only has high blood pressure not high blood sugar and if we could eventually wean mom off of all 4 of them when she gets her blood pressure under control. I was told some BS about mom needing to be on all of them. I can call it BS because the new doctor I found closer to our new home questioned why mom was on those exact blood sugar medications and said he would like to take her off them on our first visit with him. He kept her on the two blood pressure meds and I am tracking her progress for our next visit. There was also a lot of confusion with scheduling. When mom had been in last and what she had been in for. I had to tell them what she had done on the last visit from my notes. They would give my mom cortisone shots for her bad knee whenever mom would ask for it. Mind you mom has early signs of short term memory loss, so she wouldn't remember when her last visit was. Only that her knee was in pain and that the shot helped. Once they gave her 2 injections in one month. That was the last straw because from what I researched you should not have another cortisone shot for at least 3 months from your last cortisone injection. It can cause more damage than good. Our new doctor confirmed that those injections should only be given 3 times a year. 4 at the most. Do your due diligence and find someone you connect with and listens to you. You have to advocate for yourself and your loved one's. I'm glad I finally found a doctor I believe genuinely cares about helping people and listens to their needs.

Review.. I have been seeing Doctor Brian Rogers at the Bountiful Family Health Clinic for about 10…read moreyears. It's sad to see the turn it's taken. He was always attentive, not no more? If your impoverished and can't buy the new line of Holistic Medicines being pushed, he has no time for you. Dr Rogers being in the seemingly important position he holds "Owner/Doctor" should easily be able to review notes left by his assistants that pertain to my.. or someone else's health condition wouldn't you think? Especially if the notes and UA's have gone on for months and are absolutely obvious to the matter at hand? Matter of fact he should probably review the staff Notes to see how I am doing medically, or even emotionally given the fact he is my Primary Care Doctor & I am a terminal patient? I would believe he would take the time to review staff notes! Wouldn't you prefer your notes are gone over by YOUR DOCTOR if you are not directly seen by him? I would expect my Doctor to do it, especially being the only Doctor there. Well that was not the case with me, guess his mistake is my fault? Laughable! A Mistake was being made for many months because of his lack of communication with his staff, and apparent inability to review notes pertaining to my health care file. Hopefully his assistant didn't get punished? The Assistant a I gladly give 5 stars to She is amazing and Thank You! My review and opinion though is business and the owner & practices. The man has no restraint on his temper. This is not the first time I have come under his undeserving wrath! My wife defended me on the 1st occasion she was in tears. My honest advice is stay away! No need to serve me on the $24 Dollars I owe you. I will be in ASAP when you are there. Now say maybe i'm wrong? "I'm not" If by chance I am the one in the wrong my defence is. I AM IN THE ADVANCED STAGES OF HEART FAILURE . END STAGE HEART FAILURE is known to lead to Confusion Disorientation also forgetfulness especially when patient is nearing Death. Anyone can google that and see the result.2 Symptoms that I continuously have talked about, but is not even considered as a possibility in their mistake. That would be bad to have a patient who was not all there mentally because of a sickness. So let's place the expectation on the sick patient that they are all 100% responsible to know what medications mix with what, and add to that the patient better know the laws pertaining to physicians. That's not the case though. It's not my responsibility to make you review the notes. Apparently in this clinic the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing, so lets make it the patients fault and kick him/her out when you make a mistake! Works for you I guess? His displays of anger are pathetic & childish. Own what's yours! With the new office it kind of has the timeshare feel to it. Needs my slot for someone NOT on Medicaid to step in to generate a little more revenue? Well I got my Removal Letter thanks! Seriously this guy is Scary! Find a better Clinic. This is not the end, I will not be your Victim, or your scapegoat to explain what happened when questioned! Got it? I don't believe for a moment you are that inept! I'm not. Let's see how this turns out. It's 100% obvious who is in the wrong. Not me! Any patients that have been there long term may have noticed Dr Brian Rogers absence? Believe me it's not because he is reviewing your medical status. Getting ready for new building, new host of Holistic Medications! Get a Doctor who is concerned and informed about your health & your standing. Really!

I was treated horribly! The receptionist lost my insurance number and caused me to miss my…read moreappointment. Now they are challenging (ie, removing) my honest reviews from other sites. If you are on Medicaid you might be mistreated as I was. The interpersonal dynamics of the staff are messed up. They will not accept responsibility for their words and actions, they arrogantly push all negativity back at you. All they needed to do is follow the golden rule. They evidently thought, for whatever reason that I was not a patient they wanted. Dr. Oaks expressed no concern about the behavior of his staff! All I tried to do on my last visit that led to an uproar is ascertain if a false statement blurted out about me (Interrupted me 3 times during one sentence to do so) false/misleading information about me and she was not the staff member I was speaking to at the time! I attempted to set a boundary and all hell broke loose! I'm not sure if it's my appearance or mannerisms (perhaps I remind her of a man she hates?) but once that receptionist decides she doesn't like you she will sabotage you. I did not get to see my doctor and I really needed to. I believe she intentionally escalated and caused the situation to get rid of me! She's not honest or kind but sounds cheery, so I'm guessing narcissism or some other personality disorder is at play. If she was psychologically normal, I would have seen my Dr. that day. It was projection, which is an indication of a personality disorder. (While I have a degree in Psychology, I'm not diagnosing.) I'm not an addict (none of meds are controlled substances.) I feel like I was mistreated as if I'd just crawled put of a gutter. I had avoided that receptionist on that visit because of something I saw in her body language, previously. I am not an idiot or scum but got treated like I was, and I feel like that's mostly because I'm an honest person who had the nerve to assert a boundary about being interrupted and lied about. (Among other suspected motives.) She uses pleasant-sounding words but is/was deceitful. I think she deleted my Medicaid number, so she would appear justified (she had my screen pulled up on her computer, even though I was working with a different staff member.) I had provided it on an earlier visit. Then they gossip about you which means on your next visit the whole front office is prejudiced against you!!!! Then they feel justified mistreating you. They gave the impression that money and meeting legal minimums are all that matters. The entire office ganged up on me, and I consider that abuse. They excused the very behavior in themselves that was supposed to be their problem with me. (I raised my voice.) My pleas to see my doctor were ignored. I was scapegoated! The culture of the office is broken. Others who know Dr. Oaks say he seems arrogant. Now that I've seen him in action, I agree. He's not popular among former patients. If you're thinking I'm just an idiot making a baseless complaint, then know I'm an ordinary person with a college education and chronic health conditions. Despite being informed I was withdrawing from meds and was more irritable than normal and needed my prescriptions refilled ASAP, my pleas were ignored. I kept saying; "I just want to see my Doctor". I begged and pleaded but every member of their staff was unmoved by my plight. Why do they hate me???? They threw me out and called the POLICE! As soon as I was asked to leave, I did so. No one should be treated that way. I'm the wrong kind of patient, evidently. If you are fat, depressed, having an acne breakout (from wearing a mask), have anxiety, and on Medicaid, you might receive the same treatment. If you have suffered abuse, recovered, and have boundaries now, you might receive the same treatment. (Triggers the receptionist, to assert a boundary) If you are wealthy and don't mind being lied about and interrupted repeatedly, you might be fine. What scares me now is that I live about 2 miles up the hill from them and Lakeview Hospital, so If I have to go to the hospital in an emergency, I might be at the mercy of these Drs. who are prejudiced against me. A little kindness, a little sympathy, and a more helpful attitude could have defused the situation entirely. If they simply practiced the same standards they REQUIRE patients, I wouldn't be a disgruntled patient now. They took a legalistic, privileged approach, and attitude rather than a moral one. Very sad because I attend the same Church as Dr. Oaks (the owner of the practice) so I know that he knows better. Now I am afraid for my life if I have to go to the hospital in an emergency. That goes doubly for my mother who's also at their mercy if an emergency happens. I have not heard one conciliatory word from anyone. (The next ER is 20 min away)
