    Bed bugs

I booked this room for two nights and stayed in room 127. Came home with bed bug bites all over my body and now I'm miserable and itchy. Disgusting!

    Hairy shower!!

This is the third hotel I have stayed at in Orleans Massachusetts and for the price it was totally shabby. The manager was very disrespectful, I requested more towels and got attitude over it. In the end I was handed a few wash cloths for my troubles and when I requested a late check-out he was extremely rude and just said "NO." The room was way over priced for what we got. The bathtub still had other people's hair in it when we checked in, the pool was full of bugs, slime, hair and leaves and the towels we're all stained and horrible. I recommend if your going to stay in the Orleans Eastham area you avoid this roach motel at all costs.

Great price for a great room. Was not the Taj Mahal but the service was great and the bed was comfortable.

Stayed here last summer, is a clean old school motor inn that is nice for a lay low weekend with some friend. Nothing fancy but cool.

Comfortable, clean, charming, and all in a great location. The Inn staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They explained everything we would need to know and were easy to communicate with via text. When you walk into your room, you are welcomed with a personalized card and box of chocolates from a local chocolate shop (it's really good chocolate too). The breakfast every morning was in 3 courses: a bundt cake, a fruit, and then the entree. They were very accommodating with my husband's food allergies. They tend to stay away from nuts in their dishes. Rooms were freshened up every day. The Inn is a great location to be in- there are many things to do in the area. Easy drive to Provincetown, Brewster, Coast Guard Beach, and Nauset Light House (the Cape Cod chips lighthouse haha). About an hour to get to Falmouth if you wanna go to Martha's Vineyard. We enjoyed that hour ride to go through different towns. I would 100% recommend this Inn to anyone coming to Cape Cod!

Jennifer is a wonderful host and is so helpful on the property and what's going on around town. The area is quiet, clean, peaceful. The cottages are fully furnished with all you need in the kitchen. Each cottage is appointed with everything, outdoor showers, bbq grill even charcoal to get you started. And they are Clean. This matters. Some cape cabins or rooms tend to be musty or messy. Sorry, but I've been coming here for 45 years and nothing's changed. Cottage grove cottages are impeccable. This is a quiet refuge from kiddos. Sorry, but that's my take on it. There is no pool, no playground, none of that. Plenty of those elsewhere and that's where the kids are. Go enjoy that if that is what you need. This is quiet and wonderful for adults, couples, singles, artists, empty nesters or anyone wanting to get away from screaming, kids crying and yelling, parents, cursing, car horns.... Ah. Back to serenity. Isn't that better? This is the best there is. Close enough to PTown, Wellfleet and Truro. Go to Nauset lobster pool, get a few and bring it back for a nice dinner on your picnic table. Stars are out. You got back from free music on the beach. Go to your cottage in a peaceful grove Set back from route Six. Get ready for a quiet night on the Cape like it used to be.
