This is a really nice hotel to stay at. They have double pane windows and black- out curtains. They have nice soft towels and the parking lot has recently been paved. There are multiple cameras, so your vehicle will be safe. They have covered parking and open parking. The flat screen TV has many channels and several HBO channels. There is a refrigerator and microwave and a desk with a office chair that can recline if you want and there is another comfortable chair to sit in as well to watch the TV. There are two sinks, one for washing your dishes if you need to and another one to shave or wash your hands. They supply shampoo and soap. There is air conditioner or heater. The bed is a queen size and comfortable and has a new bedspread and I have three pillows. There is a night stand on each side of the bed. There is plenty of lights and two large mirrors. There is plenty of receptacles in this room. Just down the street there is a Liquor store and they sell many items. There is a pizza place next door. This place also has an ice machine and they sell Sodas and water in the lobby. The owners are really nice and so is the manager Sonny. My room has really nice hard wood flooring. The bathroom is updated and there is a combination tub and shower. I highly recommend this place.

Nothing here really stands out. It's a solid room. Solid experience. Solid bed. The pillows are…read moreextremely soft and your head will sink in. Not a fan of it. I had to double up on it. I was on the 8th floor and had a view over the pool and part of the city. There's only 8 floors here. No microwave in your room but there's a community one on each floor near the ice machine. The bathroom comes with lotion, soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I always find the shampoo to be not bad but the lotion is too thin. It's the lotion that's in all the Hiltons and all of the lotions suck. I was in a queen size room and on each side of the bed there was a night stand. The one on the left hand side (if you're facing the bed) had an outlet and lamp and phone, the other one had the alarm clock. My room had the old school / motel style AC unit. There was a thermostat on the wall but the AC unit was the one blasting when I came in. I had dinner my first night at the downstairs bar. I went with a handful of colleagues. The table ordered the Mongolian beef, Margherita Pizza (which came out a bit doughy for my colleague's liking), Field Green Salad with cherry vinaigrette (which my colleague said was pretty basic and that the salad she had earlier in the day which was the Caesar salad was big and delicious), Fish n Chips (which I had and I thought was too bready and not enough fish. It came with fries and those were decent but never enough. The slaw didn't have a lot of flavor), Chicken wings (which weren't as crispy as we typically like it). We washed all of that down with some beers and tequila. The conference room was standard as well as the fitness center. If there's not a ton of people in it (it feels full with about 4 people in it), you might get a decent workout in but nothing like what you'll get at your home gym. There's a pool as well on the 2nd floor all the way in the back. You need your key card to enter. As soon as I got off the freeway, it was right there so its a pretty nice location. There are a few bars, markets, and restaurants certainly in walking distance and a quick drive away. Parking was free!

The area felt relatively safe when I walked to get coffee in the morning and afternoon. The staff was friendly and efficient upon check in and check out. The room itself is spacious and basic. There's lots of counter space in the bathroom and on the TV table itself. I'm happy there is a mini fridge and iron with board. A microwave would've been great. My room was clean and the A/C was strong. There's several outlets conveniently located through out the room. And of course the warm cookie and bottle water was much appreciated. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a run of the mill, low class Motel 6. Highly…read moredeceptive ratings on other websites give it 8 out of 10 stars when they only deserve 1. They advertise a "kitchenette", in the room. For them, that means a microwave/fridge. There is no safe in the room, no iron/board, no clock/alarm. Plus the main outlet by the table didn't work at all. They have an outrageously priced vending machine. I wanted a bottle of Coke, they wanted $4.50 for it! I went out in the morning, came back that afternoon and my key card had been turned off for no reason. Biggest disappointment of all...,they advertise 500 Mbps WiFi. In actuality, it is 4-5 Mbps. No, that is not a typo...they have single digit wifi, not even fast enough to open a webpage or check email. I had to use cellphones data from phone to accomplish anything. I reported it to the desk person and showed him speed test on my phone. He didn't seem surprised or alarmed. Said he would report it. I left hotel came back over 8 hrs later. Wifi was actually slower....not even 4Mbps! When checking out the next day, I mentioned the wifi issue to the morning desk person and ran a speed test with a result of less than 5 Mbps. He insisted it was weather related, even though I could show him screenshots of speed tests from nearby restaurants and other places that all had at least 500. The final insult was that I had to give $100 deposit for incidental room charges. I broke nothing in the room, there was nothing in the fridge for me to be charged for, I made no phone calls....nothing to be charged $100. I was assured I would get it back upon checkout. I checked out on Saturday. On Monday they put the $100 charge through instead of refunding it. I had to contact the credit card company and do a chargeback to get my money refunded. On the positive side, the room was very clean, bed comfortable. But I wouldn't stay there again under any circumstances. I posted several pictures of the slow WiFi via speed tests taken at different times of the day/different days.

The room was very…read morenice for a Motel 6, also very spacious with a good working AC, comfortable bed, updated appliances, not to mention a quick and easy check in/out process, etc. The only knock on this review I had was that when we opened the small refrigerator there was still food from the previous guest in there so the previous clean up was not very thorough. Also the door in the side entrances to the motel states it locks all the time and appears to have to use the room key to access but it does not work. The door is swings open easily and anyone can walk in to the motel. But good location as well just off the freeway. I would not mind staying here again though.

Otherwise, there are better options all over the Southland including other Hampton Inns. My review is coming from the perspective of a Hilton Honors Lifetime Diamond member. I stay in plenty of Hampton Inns around the US and even some around the globe. I recognize that it is in the budget arm of the Hilton brand portfolio and when I stay at a Hampton Inn, I am not expecting high-end, luxury amenities, personal services, or public spaces with artwork. I am looking for a reasonable price for the area market, a safe and clean stay, and casual but professional staff interactions. The 2 features I like about this hotel are the free self-parking and the overall cost for the local market. Almost all other hotels in and around this area (within 10 miles of LAX) charge some parking fee which this property does not. Also, the room price was not dirt cheap but was among the lowest of the other area hotels of similar comfort levels. While it is hard to not like that, I came away from my first stay here with an understanding that you get what you pay for. It is in an odd location, just off of the freeway and jammed into some open ground abutting 60 mph traffic. Just be aware that it is not really sound-proofed so freeway noise is going to be present. Also, the desk staff seems to have been called up from the bush-league. Like most hotels, guaranteed check in is at 3p. I happened to arrive early at 1:30p to an empty parking lot and a quiet lobby and thought the likelihood of me getting into a room early might be high. The desk agent did not look up at me standing at his desk until I intentionally made some noise and then instead of greeting me like a guest, he asked what I wanted as if I was interrupting him. I told him my name on the reservation and asked if I might check in early. He told me no immediately without even checking if there were rooms available. I have done this enough to know that it is sometimes helpful for the front desk to check to see if there were rooms available early and so I asked if he would check and he told me he knew that there were none. When I asked if he knew if any would be available early, he told there would not be any available until 3p and that they would text me if something opened up. I left a little annoyed because I felt like I had been blown off and I started driving away to look for somewhere to grab a late lunch. I received a text 8 min later that a room was now ready. When I got back to the hotel to ask about it, he acted like he had no idea who I was as he was checking me in. I thought it was odd when I had to ask if I could have a bottle of water which is a benefit I get for being a Diamond member. He gave me one but would not have had I not asked and I never received any acknowledgement of loyalty. I never really expect that anyway but I find it nice when a hotel staff will welcome me as a guest based on that. It just shows that they spent some time paying attention to caring about their customer base. The hotel was clean but clearly old and in need of a refresh. There is a lot of chipped paint in the public spaces. In the end, I got a bed, a parking space, did not get robbed, and did not see bed bugs. But I also got zero in terms of polite and professional service, no loyalty recognition, and no warm and fuzzy endearment to want to stay here again.

Short hair like that seems to be trimmed from somewhere unsightly in my opinion) on the very pillow I was going to lay my head on!!! Genuinely disappointed, mildly disturbed, never again. The 3.7 rating or whatever ratings has by the time you view it are lying to you. You'd be better off staying somewhere else. Normally Hilton has some pretty decent places, but I'm ashamed to say this place generally felt very... meh. I'm not making this one star because the receptionist was nice about my reservation, even after having a bit of a hard time finding our reservation (someone else's reservation showed up for us somehow) and found an accessible room for my family and I (elderly individuals in my family). Very old and outdated, no valet or bellman as mentioned above. Very deceiving looks. I would say goodnight (as of the time of writing this), but I doubt I'll be getting any sleep after the "pillow hair incident" of haunting my dreams.
