This is a run of the mill, low class Motel 6. Highly deceptive ratings on other websites give it 8 out of 10 stars when they only deserve 1. They advertise a "kitchenette", in the room. For them, that means a microwave/fridge. There is no safe in the room, no iron/board, no clock/alarm. Plus the main outlet by the table didn't work at all. They have an outrageously priced vending machine. I wanted a bottle of Coke, they wanted $4.50 for it! I went out in the morning, came back that afternoon and my key card had been turned off for no reason. Biggest disappointment of all...,they advertise 500 Mbps WiFi. In actuality, it is 4-5 Mbps. No, that is not a typo...they have single digit wifi, not even fast enough to open a webpage or check email. I had to use cellphones data from phone to accomplish anything. I reported it to the desk person and showed him speed test on my phone. He didn't seem surprised or alarmed. Said he would report it. I left hotel came back over 8 hrs later. Wifi was actually slower....not even 4Mbps! When checking out the next day, I mentioned the wifi issue to the morning desk person and ran a speed test with a result of less than 5 Mbps. He insisted it was weather related, even though I could show him screenshots of speed tests from nearby restaurants and other places that all had at least 500. The final insult was that I had to give $100 deposit for incidental room charges. I broke nothing in the room, there was nothing in the fridge for me to be charged for, I made no phone calls....nothing to be charged $100. I was assured I would get it back upon checkout. I checked out on Saturday. On Monday they put the $100 charge through instead of refunding it. I had to contact the credit card company and do a chargeback to get my money refunded. On the positive side, the room was very clean, bed comfortable. But I wouldn't stay there again under any circumstances. I posted several pictures of the slow WiFi via speed tests taken at different times of the day/different days. read more

First off its a Motel 6 so obviously one should not have too high expectations. The room was very nice for a Motel 6, also very spacious with a good working AC, comfortable bed, updated appliances, not to mention a quick and easy check in/out process, etc. The only knock on this review I had was that when we opened the small refrigerator there was still food from the previous guest in there so the previous clean up was not very thorough. Also the door in the side entrances to the motel states it locks all the time and appears to have to use the room key to access but it does not work. The door is swings open easily and anyone can walk in to the motel. But good location as well just off the freeway. I would not mind staying here again though. read more

TRASH. We got catfished by booking.com. The name on booking was under," station 6". We got there and we were smacked with the strong smell of urine and poop. They had wet floor signs all over, as if they had a sewage leak. We got to the room and it was okay. The next day we had requested more sheets, due to an unexpected personal feminine issue. They said "no, sorry we don't have extra sheets for you." So for 2 days we had to sleep on soiled bedding. The walls are so thin. We heard the couple next to us fighting and slamming their door over and over again. My boyfriend is super allergic to cats and they have people who live there with their cats and my poor boyfriend was in distress and not comfortable the whole time. Never again. read more

I would not recommend staying at this hotel, especially as a woman traveling alone. The first night I stayed here, I could have sworn someone tried to enter my room. I was exhausted and assumed maybe I had imagined it because I needed sleep. However, two nights later the same thing happened again. I had just returned to my room and was on the phone with my roommate when I heard the door open. When I looked up, I saw the door closing. I immediately walked into the hallway and saw a man walking away. I called the front desk, and their response was to say I must have lost a key card. That was not true. The next day they changed their explanation and said I must have left my door open, which also was not true. What was most concerning was the complete lack of concern for my safety. Instead of investigating how someone could open a guest room door, the staff dismissed the situation and essentially implied that I was mistaken. For a hotel to have potential security issues like this and show no urgency to address them is extremely troubling. I would strongly caution anyone, especially women traveling alone, before choosing to stay here. read more

The staff here is friendly and helpful. My room was clean & spacious although it had a bit of a musty smell. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows weren't great. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet my room was. This is a very decent budget motel. The hallway however needed a good vacuuming. They offer a large array of vending drinks & snacks. Free WiFi and a pool. It is a few blocks to the 405 Freeway. Very close to the 110 Freeway as well. The area offers many dining opportunities and the motel is right across the street from a large shopping mall. It is a very convenient location for many reasons. read more

Wow, I'm an continuing customer here at the Motel 6 and I'm just very upset with there programming. Keep in mind that they have no respect for there customers and they will throw you out before asking if you will stay another night. My lady was sick and we decided to stay for a week only to be put out on the third day because they want you to book the rooms or they will book your room out without calling the room to check. This is extremely rude due to the fact I'm already in the room. This shows a lack of care for the people that pay already and a higher interest in just there money. They sacrifice respect and hospitality for money. The lowest peice of crap service I've ever seen in a motel. We have officially decided to never return and I would advice you do the same. The staff is beyond friendly,, also the room is very clean, laundry service in the hotel is very convenient! Parking is very good even when semi trucks park in the back there are plenty of places to eat nearby. I very much so enjoy staying there.. If there is one complaint, it would be the price range when I first showed up at the hotel was too good to be true honestly, but they definitely make up for it as you get closer to the holidays.. regardless of the it is still very considering the cleanliness and location. read more

This was one of the most humiliating and frustrating experiences I've ever had. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable. The staff member laughed in my face, belittled me, and denied my confirmed reservation from Booking.com for no valid reason. I had gone out of my way to make sure my special request and late check-in were approved before booking, yet I was still turned away as if my situation didn't matter. On top of that, he lost my credit card and repeatedly insisted he had returned it, making me feel like I was the one in the wrong. After arguing back and forth, he finally found it buried under paperwork, then shoved it back at me with an attitude--as if he was angry at me for his own mistake. I was already dealing with an emergency, needing a place to stay for the night after my home flooded. Instead of receiving help, I was treated with disrespect and left stranded, exhausted, and completely devastated. No one should ever have to experience this kind of treatment. I agree whoever said this is the nicest Motel 6 they've ever stayed in. They have a vending room, apparently washing and drying machines, a pool which I have never seen at one of these joints, and it actually seems safe here? I feel like Motel 6 exclusively sets up shop in ghettos but this is a nicer part of a lower-income area at least. There's an IKEA and Target in the mega shopping center across the way, several food joints, and it doesn't lend itself to homeless foot traffic because there's nowhere around to "hang out" for lack of better term. My room had a mini fridge in it and yes it did work, as did the shower and phone. Clean sheets and a nice place for my dogs and I to stay during an emergency that happened. Oh wow actually just noticed there's a microwave in here too that's helpful. Too bad I'm checking out today. read more

I used my Apple Card to pre-pay for this hotel when I arrived they asked for a physical card for a deposit for incidentals normally it's customary for the hotel to put a hold on the card. It's temporary or pending, not an actual charge on the card which this hotel did so they charged my card $100 and said it would fall off in 7 to 10 days it only falls off if it's a pending transaction not an actual charge. This particular representative had terrible customer service and was actually rude and disrespectful and hung up on me when I called to ask him why they charged my card. They have the WORST Housekeepers in America. They Refused to bring towels and empty trash daily. I upgraded to Studio 6 to see if any difference and it was not. The new desk guy said the housekeeper said i should pay deposit bc i did not make bed and clean off dresser. I argued they have to strip bed so why should i make it up first. Also, they clean after dogs and she complained that i did not make the bed or wipe down dresser?? He said is that how i leave my house. I told him i dont wait 3 days to clean house and THEY HAVE TO STRIP BED anyway. It is horrible housekeeping. They are lazy Mexican housekeepers (who could have been Lazy blacks or whites) who do not like to clwan rooms with Blacks even though we are the dominant customers. If the management were better, they would nip that in the bud. At $150 or more a night, the cleaning should be better. I told him the $100 deposit is for damage, not housekeeping. I have stayed a lot of days and got hassled for towels and trash four times. I do not recommend that hotel. read more

This is the second time we came to this Motel 6. The first time was sometime on May 2024. Our room was located on the left side part of the building. It was really nice, clean, and the bathroom was very contemporary. It got a smart tv, microwave, and a clean mini fridge. Then, sometime during the middle of the day were coming back from our lunch, a manager greeted us! He was attentive and polite. We introduced ourselves and same with him. and Yesterday, we came back again for the second time. And our room is on the right side iof the building, it wasn't that modern looking but it was clean and spacious. I do have only 1 complain, it was a non-smoking room but it smelled like someone smoked in there because right when we opened it smelled like one TO BE HONEST. But the mom that I am, good thing I carry room sprays with me. When we was walking we saw the manager and greeted him on the way and he was the same asking about our room and we really appreciate that. This place is close to a lot of food places walking distance. The mall is super close by, ikea, Target, boba places, dessert places etc. (just go check Yelp for reviews too!) I wish I would've read the reviews on Yelp before trusting booking.coms reviews. This was by far the trashiest place. I get that it's a motel, but have some respect for the people spending their money here by AT LEAST providing clean rooms. Now I question how "clean" they actually are. To begin, our room had an extra little guest, roaches. My husband and I had only been in the room for an hour or two when I noticed a bug crawl under the bed. As I'm trying to move the bed to get a picture, I noticed the amount of stains on the bed sheets as well as on the bed cover which immediately grossed us out. We called the front desk and they seemed to get offended by what was found in the room. A male that worked the front desk came up to our room in regular cloths (no uniform) with a large Raid bottle claiming it's safe for humans to ingest. As he's spraying the room, the smell only got stronger. We asked for another room and he said they were completely booked. After 15 minutes of sitting in the strong smell, we decided to look up another hotel to stay at because the smell was giving us a headache and made us feel nauseous. We called the front desk to explain and we got an annoyed response along with sarcasm, but oddly they were able to "find" us a room in the same building. It was late in the night (8pm) so we decided to just stay in the new room. Fast fwd, 10 days pass, still no deposit. My husband and I called on separate occasions and we got hung up on and 0 answers to what's going on with our deposit. The person who answered was not apologetic at all. When first coming inside my room, I immediately started to unpack my clothes and bags. Someone knocks on the door and unexpectedly unlocks it. House cleaning comes in and asks me if the room is clean. I didn't even notice at first but I tell her yeah everything is fine. It isn't until I take a closer look at things when she leaves. That the "done bed " is probably the previous guest attempt of cleaning up behind themselves because the bed had body hair and bodily fluids on the sheets once removing the bed cover. Basically talked to front desk and I had to wait in my car for an hour so they can clean it. What's the point in reserving a room if they don't clean it prior to your arrival. Trust me when I say that this is a sad hotel. For $95 a night, some would say that you get what you pay for... but I would argue that the condition of the rooms and the overall environment, is def not worth $95. There are safety precautions everywhere, as if the hotel admin/staff are fully aware that this isn't a safe area and that they themselves don't feel safe here either. The rooms are depressing. They're just a big space with a bed, fridge and microwave in the corner, dinky tv hanging from the wall, desperate looking bathrooms, and light fixtures that have yet to be fixed (or ones that have been sloppily put together). When walking through the hallway upstairs, it smelled like weed. The walls are extremely thin too, so if you're a light sleeper, I would avoid this place. The phone was a joke. I couldn't even dial the front desk and had to physically leave the room. If you're looking for a quick spot to lay your head, maybe this is the place for you but even then, I wouldn't recommend it. read more

They refuse to assist with any error on their part and send you back to your booking source (witnessed it happen to multiple people including myself) the one employee lied straight to my face after witnessing the conversation with the booking source. No manager was available, which he told the agent there was one. My reservation was not honored even after someone at the motel accepted the update, but some how the price was updated. Rooms were also not ready at check in time, super long line. The property appears to be under construction, minimal lighting in the parking area. Doors have key card access but it is broken. Homeless people are sleeping in the parking lot and around the motel. Requested non-smoking room and the room smelled of cigarettes (my daughter coughed all night) asked for air fresher and "no one" spoke English to assist with the issue. Called the front desk numerous times to request another pillow and towel with no success. Roaches in the room, dirty sheets, and the bathroom was not clean. No other rooms available in the area, due to the event so we had no choice but to stay. read more

Good location - next to south bay pavilions mall with lots of restaurants, grocery stores like Target and retail stores like JC Penney, as well as wall street favorite company - Game Stop. No room deposit required at check in! The place is also laid back and simple with no fuss and frills - just how I like it! The room I got was spacious and had a sliding window that opens all the way so you can get fresh air in. Room also came equipped with standard appliances like microwave, fridge freezer, 39 inch flat screen TV, AC Unit, Luggage rack, Safe Box and luggage and clothing racks. There is also a clean outdoor pool and gazebo to play board games and barbeque. I did not like the noisy banging coming from adjacent rooms, tiny insects crawling in the bed sheet, hard pillows, dingy looking hallways and unprofessional looking shower head. For the price per night of over $90 I would NOT come here again! read more

If I could give you guys 0 stars I would..! This weekend we booked an hotel room with two beds. Mind you the room had a weird mildew sewer smell. Very unpleasant and we had to bleach the bathroom. We had an issue with the tv so we called the front desk, he taught us how to work the tv cool no issues. We also called and requested more towels and they brought us some. The next day we renew our stay.. we left for a few hours and came back and couldn't get into our room. The two guys at the front desk was very rude and had bad attitudes. Mad for no reason we had no idea why. So he gave us our new keycards and we left. The door launch wouldn't lock, and we asked the front desk why and they told us there's no maintenance.. cool risking our lives at night how nice. Later on that night the tv wouldn't cut on so we called the front desk again and he told us he will be there in 20 minutes and we waited 40 minutes and called back and he was very unprofessional that we asking him to do his JOB. We also requested more pillows and guess what there isn't any. I don't know his name but he's a short Hispanic guy and by those Indians in the front was rude too. The Hispanic guy told us if we don't like it here go somewhere else. Next morning someone at the front desk told us they can't extend our stay. I honestly think they hated that we asked for multiple requests and they hate the fact they had to do their jobs. Don't waste your money on this hotel. Go somewhere else and pay $30 extra. read more
