After placing an online order, I called from CA to confirm that order would be delivered today…read more Crystal assured me that it would & followed through as promised! My aunt is 87 yrs old this week. After a disappointing experience with another florist I almost didn't try another florist. But after hearing yesterday of my aunt's waning health I decided to make another attempt. I am grateful to Crystal at McBride's Florist for her conscientious and attentive service. The Birthday 'Buzz' floral bouquet and candy brightened my aunt's day.! My cousin said, "Vase and Flowers are beautiful! Delivery and service was great!" Thank you to Crystal and everyone at McBride's Florist that helped with my order! - Caroline P.S. P.S. substitution of some flowers; still a great bouquet!

The team at Sparrows Florist Team did a fantastic job!…read more I called this morning at 9 o'clock and by noon, a large and beautiful flower arrangement was delivered. My wife of 40 years is a floral designer in Illinois, so I know a bit about flower arrangements; Sparrows Florist knocked it out of the park. If I could give Sparrows a 10 Star Rating I would, but I'm happy to give them a Five Star Rating and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a beautiful, personal, professional & wonderful looking arrangement. Thanks so much Sparrows Team, we appreciate it! You did an awesome job. Thanks! Joe Sal, Chicago.

I ordered the Good Morning Mug because on the website it was bright and full of bold color in a big…read moresleek candy apple red mug. It was sent with none of the same flowers as pictured on the website and was in a basic white and crimson polka dotted mug. However, they did try to call me to let me know that they had a different color lily available and not the color pictured, but since I missed the call they just didn't use any lilies at all and also replaced the bright green sprigs with dark fern looking accents along with the rest of the flowers being dulled colors completely unlike what was featured. They said they still used the carnations that were supposed to be in it but there was not a single carnation. Everyone I talked to was very kind but I am just extremely disappointed in the lackluster outcome of my order. Wish I could take back my order and get my money back.

IF IT IS HOME DECOR YOU WANT…read more.. Wow! As soon as I walked into this little store, I experienced the Christmas explosion! They had Christmas decor everywhere, from trees to ornaments, wreaths and other accessories. They also had home decor items (to a lesser degree), for Halloween and Thanksgiving as well. You will find pillows, yard decorations and banners, welcome signs and other accents to enhance your current decor. It is a cute and well appointed shop. If you wander to the back of the store, you will see that they also have clothing items, (some dresses and tops), but mostly a large selection of southern inspired and holiday tees. Outside of the decor and clothing, they also carry candles, jewelry and other gift worthy items. The ladies here were very warm and friendly and we enjoyed our visit. If you are exploring downtown Decatur, you must pop in for a visit and no, I did not see any pineapples!

My boyfriend and I purchased one separate arrangement aside from the spray and they sent a plastic vase of colorful wild flowers instead of the white roses we ordered. They gave us a refund to the spray but had to go through a customer service line for the refund on our separate arrangement. They agreed to refund $27, but finally received our full refund only when we called the florist directly and told them this was not any where near what we had ordered for my father nor did I feel it was appropriate to send a colorful bouquet for someone that meant the world to my family and I. Will not be recommending Mary Burke's to anyone. I'm so disappointed and truly upset. I know that flowers aren't a big deal to most, but we expected more from a florist that has been around for some time. My job in Colorado sent a beautiful spray from a florist shop in Trinity that closes on Holidays. Sadly, the funeral home is not associated with the shop from Trinity but the fact that they had it in on time and it looked wonderful meant so much to us. It's not an excuse to refuse to make a spray because of a holiday when the spray was ordered with ample time before the weekend started. I apologize for the long review but I'm truly appalled at how business was handled here and no apologies can make up for the spray or the mistake they made in thinking "Hey, we're out of the roses but let's send a colorful bouquet with no roses and a plastic vase instead."
