Very kind man, and prompt. Came to out location and sealed chip in windshield on our new Subaru. He's a real angel!

Chris Edwards has all of the info in this review and much…read moremore including receipts and letter of demand from our attorney. Luckily I have the text thread between us when they admitted the damage and said they would pay us back. He hadn't even paid us what we paid him ($717+) for replacing our broken windshield with another broken windshield and damaging our car extensively. I can post that Venmo transaction if anyone wants to see it. I will write another review to let potential clients know how Glassman resolves this issue - or does not. Came to our home and did $3000 damage to my Mercedes Benz. Replaced my cracked windshield with another cracked windshield. Tore out pieces of interior leather. Scratched interior leather and parts of exterior all around windshield. Had to have car towed to dealership. Siding of windshield blew off on highway. Nothing recalibrated ie windshield defrost, cameras, windshield seal not replaced. Installed a cheap Japanese brand windshield not compatible with car. Felt ring blowing through sides of windshield first time I drove it. Was at our home for hours. Left trash, equipment, black smudges inside car. Car was at Mercedes for 3 months being repaired. Zero damage to my car except cracked windshield prior to Chris Edward's service. At first said they would reimburse and make it right then refused. Sent a letter of demand from our attorney. Still refused to pay. Next step is a lawsuit. DO NOT USE!

I brought my car to Safelite for a small windshield chip with an approximately one-inch crack…read moreextending from it. I chose to have it repaired as a preventative measure because I wanted to stop the damage from spreading and avoid eventually needing a windshield replacement. Unfortunately, during Safelite's repair attempt, the crack expanded from approximately one inch to three inches. I left with the crack at about three inches, and it continued spreading overnight and the following day. It is now approximately eight inches long, and almost to the base of the glass, meaning the windshield needs to be replaced. I understand that Safelite discloses the risk that existing damage can spread during an attempted repair, and I signed the waiver acknowledging that risk. I'm not claiming that the technician did anything negligent. I'm frustrated with the outcome: I brought the car in specifically to prevent a small crack from spreading, and instead it doubled in size during the repair attempt and continued spreading afterward. Because my insurance covers chip repair without a deductible but my Alabama policy applies my deductible to windshield replacement, trying to take preventative action is now going to cost me $1,000 out of pocket. Had I left the original damage alone, maybe it eventually would have spread anyway--I can't know that. But I do know that I arrived with an approximately one-inch crack and, after the attempted repair, I'm now looking at an eight-inch crack and a full windshield replacement. A very frustrating result from something I did specifically to try to prevent this outcome. UPDATE: The "successful repair" spread to multiple cracks extending over 24 inches and requiring windshield replacement. I paid $1000 to have the windshield replaced and all I was offered was a refund on the repair (about $75) which went directly back to my insurance company. Geeeee....thanks.
