I had questions about the referral and about the procedure this guy wanted to do and he totally flipped out and told me he felt like I didn't wanna be there and ya know what, he's right, I wanted to see a specialist due to my concerns and 3 previous surgeries done at Harborview, and didn't want him sticking a camera down my nose without first seeing and knowing how much metal is in my nose and face. He made me feel like I was beneath him but refused to provide me with a copy of the recording I consented to at the beginning of the visit. I did not go there for a procedure I was there for the first time to see a specialist. Bottom line, I'm extremely disappointed in Spokane Ear Nose and Throat and would Never visit them in the future. I'll just keep driving to Seattle and see my very caring knowledgeable Dr. A.J. Amadi even if my insurance doesn't cover it. I'd rather be taken care of than be treated like I'm a burden or have my questions & concerns answered with knowledgeable answers and care, rather than either not answer or make excuses or degrade me for even asking. I hope all your doctors aren't like this ARNP that's all I can say. Update: I was suppose to talk with the manager Kay Perry but I decided not to drive the 40 mile round trip in to possibly not be seen so I left a voicemail for her and for Patrick her boss but they of course did Not return my calls so I'll update if I hear from them however; I believe they won't contact me as this seems like a very dysfunctional medical facility. I'm positive there are fabulous doctors there unfortunately I was seen by an extremely unprofessional man who has issues with women. Update: Patrick Schmidt did call back and told me I'd need an order from a judge to get a copy of the recording of the visit I had which I believe is against HIPPA however I called my attorney for clarification. I made an appointment, the soonest opening mid-April, I had no choice, I took it. I waited patiently. In the meantime, the ear would get worse, then a little better, back to worse, over and over. My mid April appointment finally arrived. I showed up 15 minutes early as I was excited to find out what's been wrong with my throbbing ear with hearing loss, only to find I out, Spokane ENT needed to reschedule my appointment because of a scheduling problem, soonest opening....end of June. Over 4 and a half months wait for an earache with hearing loss appointment. They deserve a zero star rating, but 1 star is as low as this goes. Spokane VALLEY ENT, got me in a week and a half. I highly recommend SpokaneVALLEY ENT!

Waited months to be seen, went to this clinic a total of 4 times and saw 2 different doctors. Had…read moresevere itching in my ear canals and couldn't get an answer as to what was going on. Dr. Falco was nice, cleaned out my ears each appointment but only prescribed me ear drops that did not work. At the second appointment, he didn't really know what else to do so I switched to see Dr. Van Buren. Van Buren was the worst doctor I've seen in 15 years. Bad attitude and wouldn't help me. When I described how intense the itching was and that I couldn't help it, he told me he can prescribe anxiety medication....so let me get this straight. Instead of fixing the problem , you want me to mask the symptom and just take anxiety medication? Unbelievable. I've never been more angry in a split second than that. Completely dismissive and rude. The second appointment I had with him, he didn't clean my ears, spent 5 minutes with me and told me to keep using the ear drops that haven't been working. $100 for that appointment for him to do NOTHING. I asked what he thought was going on since no one had told me. He said he thinks it's eczema and that he sees thousands of patients with this every year so I should listen to him. Yet what he's been doing hasn't helped me at all. What a quack. Completely incompetent. I was done with that pathetic excuse of a doctor and clinic then scheduled with Spokane ENT in downtown. The doctor at the downtown location was wonderful. Prescribed me a medication that helped then gave me a referral to an allergist who was able to completely get rid of the eczema. After 1 appointment. Do better Van Buren. If you hate your job this much then leave. I actively tell people to stay away from you and this practice.
