TNR Automotive and its owner, Thomas, took nearly $13,000 and returned my truck with more problems…read morethan it started with. I paid for an engine swap, turbos, catalytic converters, and ignition coils, and what I got back was a truck with new mechanical problems, missing parts, and clear signs of sloppy, careless work. * The truck came back with a severe misfire and shakes constantly while driving. * They left visible bolts missing, parts loose, and failed to reinstall guards and shrouds. * Dejaron tornillos visiblemente faltantes, piezas sueltas y no reinstalaron protectores ni cubiertas. * The air conditioning blows hot air because they failed to charge the system twice. * They promised warranty coverage, then refused to provide paperwork, which violates Oklahoma law. * They trashed the interior of my truck, leaving it full of water bottles and garbage when I picked it up. * The truck is leaking engine oil again, after returning to their shop four separate times for oil leaks in the last four months. * The tow company they work with damaged my bumper. Thomas claimed he would get it fixed but then lied repeatedly about ordering parts or waiting on delivery. After months of excuses, there was no resolution. * Thomas refuses to take responsibility for any of it. This wasn't a complicated job--swap the engine, install the parts properly, stand by the work, and return a working truck. Instead, I am left with more problems, more costs, and zero accountability. Avoid this shop. They cut corners, lie about warranties, leave vehicles in worse condition, and refuse to take accountability for their work.

Blew the oil filter cap / oil cooler on my 2015 Jeep (common issue), and went in to have that replaced, AND threw in a 100k mile service - since they were gonna be in that part of the engine anyway. Pros: - Mechanic was super fast and super friendly. Was able to do the entire job in about three working hours, when several YouTube mechanics suggested it would be about ten hours. AWESOME!!! - Price per-hour for labor was about HALF of what the mechanics at other places charge. AWESOME!!! - Place was easy to find, had a waiting area with a Sasquatch statue, and had a McDonalds next door if you got hungry while waiting. Cons: - The receptionist / admin clerk is super friendly; but was not technical enough to understand the work I wanted done, what parts and labor that work included, and how to accurately reflect all of that on my invoice (there were a few mistakes). This is common in many non-dealership garages. Dealerships I have been to tend to have a mechanic who can discuss the mechanical shenanigans with you at the reception desk. - The McDonalds next door smelled like a sewer inside their entryway. Has nothing to do with the Iron Goat business. Just letting you know in case you decide to grab an egg mcmuffin while you wait on your oil change. Bottom line: I will go there again, and highly recommend this place for other Jeepers in the OKC area. If you have a complex job, I would just make sure to specify everything you want in detail prior to and during the service, and then scrutinize the invoice prior to paying it.
