Would NOT recommend. After flying in from a long flight today with only two days in town, we…read morearrived at the shop at 445pm. Excited. We were told that it would only take 30minutes to wait to be attended to. We waited patiently and checked in periodically at every point we kept being assured they were just about take us. "30minutes more" we were told every 30minutes. It's been 3 hours. As time wore us down i fell asleep in their waiting room. We are just leaving now only for them to tell us that they were closing and we couldn't be taken care of together as intended for a very small non-detailed tattoo of puzzle pieces together. They asked that we take two separate artists for a tattoo that requires the same hand. We were being rushed to now work with little time. Mind you, we were the only Black people waiting for a tattoo in their establishment. Take that as you will. If staff would've been transparent as we checked in several times we could've left and been on our way. Again, would not recommend especially to other Black folks. It's important to feel valued and respected as a customer just as much as any other respectful paying customer. SHOUT OUT TO SOUTHERN MAGNETIC Tattoo tho! After feeling deflated and disrespected we quickly googled and found these folks. They answered and managed to make time for us. They were extremely kind, patient, and cool. Great tattoos. Veterans in the game. Customer service makes all the difference. I don't care how good an artist you are. How you treat people matters. Especially when getting artwork on your body that will last a lifetime.
