From the very beginning, she was incredibly organized, attentive, and genuinely interested in understanding our music preferences. She listened to what we liked and made sure the music felt personal to us and fit the atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. What really stood out was that Norah was so much more than just our DJ. She helped keep our reception timeline moving seamlessly and made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the evening without us having to worry about what was happening next. She also coordinated extremely well with our photographer, making sure the music, announcements, and reception events were timed appropriately so our photographer could capture all of the important moments. Having someone who was so organized, communicative, and proactive made such a difference on our wedding day. Norah helped everything run smoothly while still making the music and reception feel completely personal to us. We are so grateful for everything she did and would absolutely recommend Norah and Modern Love DJs to other couples!

We contracted her as both our DJ and photobooth operator. In the months leading up to our wedding, Norah gave us access to a digital platform called Vibo DJ to add songs directly from Spotify/Apple Music, which made plugging in playlists a breeze. The platform also provided a loose timeline for the day/what song is played when, which was very helpful. The day of, Norah arrived on time and kept the good vibes going! She proactively managed the potential echo in our venue (which had vaulted ceilings). The photobooth was a hit with guests, Norah provided a backdrop, the camera, printed photo strips, as well as a guest book for guests to tape in photos/write notes. Norah's personality was what sold us. She was easy-going, kind, and so fun to talk to! She went above and beyond for us, even offering to mix a Father/Daughter dance mashup for us. We always looked forward to speaking with her throughout the planning process. If you are looking for a DJ for your event, Norah is your girl!

JPP was one of the easiest vendors to work with, reliable, and professional. During the months leading up to the wedding we worked on our playlists using Spotify. We had a playlist for pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. We also selected special songs (some with specific start times) for things like newlywed introductions and cake cutting. We initially emailed with Jeff, who always responded promptly. A couple weeks before the wedding, we got the email from JPP to fill in their document with our song details and from then on we communicated with Miguel over phone and text. We texted Miguel with last minute changes, which he confirmed promptly and executed perfectly on the wedding day. The speaker and mic set ups (indoor and outdoor) provided wonderful sound quality and never was there a bad squeak.

The majority told me not possible, but Melissa at Royal Princess Parties said she could make it happen with just an extra $50 since it's a character she doesn't currently carry. She was completely in awe of the Snow Queen / Elsa (Jamie) who came to the party. They sang songs, played hot potato with Olaf, did freeze dance, and read stories. The princess gave her a crown and a hair pin and my daughter totally treasured them! After her nap later I put the crown on her and she told me only Elsa knows how to put the crown on her correctly ;) Melissa and the company were easy to work with. All the kids at the party had a great time and the parents said it would be a good idea to do for a get together to pitch in on together just to entertain the kids! My only recommendation would be to schedule the princess to come 30 mins or so after party starts. I got married three weeks ago and continue to receive emails from people about how much they loved the music at the ceremony. We had asked Vicki to play some old hymns (such as Amazing Grace, Come Thou Fount, How Great Thou Art, etc) as well as some newer worship songs (Cornerstone, etc) and they were all absolutely beautiful. Vicky found lovely arrangements for each song, and had me chose the arrangements I liked best prior to our day. We did this via phone and email, which made it super easy. She was very responsive and did exactly what I asked. She also gave me advice and input on how everything should flow, which I really appreciated since this was my first wedding and I had no idea how everything should work. She and the pianist played prelude music for longer than I had anticipated (as we had to delay the start of the ceremony for latecomers) and she came prepared with a repertoire of beautiful songs that matched our other song choices. I honestly cannot say enough about Vicki!! She could get away charging a lot more than she does because she and her team are fantastic!!!
