Hi, I submitted application for checking account on…read more4-march-2013. Received a letter with my account info week later. After that I completed application to get my debit card and submitted it. Didn't receive my card and decided to call them. They said that card was probably lost in the mail and that they will make a new one and send it overnight. After another week I again called and they said the same thing. So I decided to close my account - and they said that I need to send a notarized letter in order to close my account. I thought that it will take me more time and money to send this letter. So I called again asking for my check card. Now they said that in order to get my card I need to have spending on account or make another deposit. And they lied to me that they discussed this with me before. Not an ethical behavior for a bank. Good luck doing business in MA! Thanks!

not very friendly by any means... especially lorie! when i asked and then demanded to speak to a…read moremanager after she was rude, short, inattentive and nasty. maybe it's because i wanted to be assisted 10 minutes before closing. when i asked for a name and number of a supervisor, she hung up on me. luckily, the main office took my call and was able to answer a simple question regarding hours. i went the next day to a mutual bank over 25 minutes away to close my account and not to have to deal with that wretched, menopausal jerk!

All of the half dozen calls I made to the call center with questions about direct deposit, debit card use, etc. were answered by professional and helpful associates. ALL of them! I've transferred from a bank I've been with for over 30 years. In contrast, BrightBridge transactions clear faster, no minimum balances, I now get something that resembles actual interest on savings PLUS cash back for purchases and no fee ATM withdrawals. I was penalized by my former bank (hence the reason to leave them) by not having enough money on deposit to waive ATM fees for example AND received a terse and impersonal form letter on top of it. I understand all institutions have good days and bad however my experience with BrightBridge Credit Union so far has been nothing short of excellent and above my expectations!

I should have reviewed them long ago…read more When I moved down to Foxboro about 10 years ago, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to change banks (having come from the South Shore). RFCU had a branch in Mansfield, and soon had branches in neighboring towns. Free checking, friendly tellers, free coin machine and redemption, and they're on the SUM network which means I'm never far from an ATM. I've only ever had one or two minor issues and they were handled promptly by tellers or customer service folks via phone. PS- They have real humans answering their phones!

Granted its pretty much a normal business hours thing, but they have always been so helpful and so pleasant whenever I have called. Anything from small transfers to the kids' accounts to major problems, they do a fantastic job !! All the more reason why RFCU will always be our bank.
