He was easy-going, flexible, and very professional. We had a phone conversation a few months prior where we were able to work with him to pick out the songs for our wedding reception. Jeff provided his expert opinion which was so helpful in planning our big day. Throughout our wedding, Jeff did a great job playing music that kept the crowd dancing and having fun all night. The dance floor was never empty or even had a quieter period. He did a great job with announcing all of our wedding party too. His wife Bonnie was our wedding planner. She was also amazing. Bonnie is also easy to work with and has a lot of patience. A truly gifted wedding planner who deeply loves and enjoys what she does. We all can't say enough great things about both of them! I strongly recommend using them both for your wedding.

Bonnie was an absolute joy to work with; balancing her expertise with having a GREAT personality. She handled our wedding party, who can be rather rambunctious, without a hitch. Our parents absolutely loved her & are still doting on her (& her team) to this day. We also used First City Event's DJ services and were overly pleased with the entire ceremony & reception music! If I could, I would attach videos of how packed the dance floor was the whole evening. Let's run it back once more, FCE! I would recommend you all 100 times over.

Based on the Yelp reviews we decided to give the Comedy Magic Cabaret a try. I have to say that from the outside it definitely doesn't look like much, but once you are through the doors you are in the the most magical little venue! The ambience and decor were on point! Seating is very intimate, but we did not feel crowded at all! It was the perfect setting for this type of show. There is a small menu but the food was delicious. We had the Spinach Artichoke dip with chips and it was a perfectly sized appetizer. I also had one of the best lemon-drop martinis I've ever tasted! I was very impressed by the food and drink offerings. The waitresses were very friendly and service was efficient. The show itself was a riot. We genuinely laughed through the whole thing. There is wonderful crowd interaction, and Kerry who performed that evening kept everything so fast paced and lively. He really knows how to work a crowd. We were hooked 2 minutes into the show and stayed dialed in for the whole thing! It's a lot of clever banter and good rapport with a lot of wow! tricks along the way. Truly - so entertaining! The end of the show had us all literally gasping! The crowd skews older but there were many families there with older teens and young adults so it was a great vibe! Highly recommend! We will definitely return next year!!

In October of 2025, we hired Raymond to photograph our 120-person wedding in Camarillo, California…read more We actually used Raymond for our wedding engagement pictures as well. We could not have asked for a better experience working with him. Throughout the entire process leading up to our wedding day, Raymond communicated with us non-stop and was extremely professional at every stage. We never left our meetings with questions left unanswered. He is a one-man team and was able to handle every detail we wanted to capture on our special day. We chose a few locations of where we wanted our engagement photos taken and Raymond gave us his pros and cons of each. Trusting his knowledge we chose a remote location in Ojai, California. Woodsy, whimsical, nature were the setting/vibes we were shooting for. Wow! The pictures came out better than we could have ever imagined! Impressed as ever with our engagement pictures, we knew Raymond was our guy for the wedding day. Raymond gave us good advice for posing directions that felt natural. He was able to capture genuine emotions of all of our wedding guests. He was such an ease to work with, we highly recommend him to anyone needing photography work. The final images exceeded our expectations and then some. We are obsessed with the final results and the quality of the images are top notch. They took about 3-4 weeks to get back to us after our wedding day. We cant thank Raymond enough for taking those photos that we will cherish forever. Please reach out if you have any questions about Raymond and his services. We cant thank him enough!

It's not easy photographing a 5 month old seeking nap time, but Raymond did it and all the images came out beautiful. We look forward to hiring him again and he is highly recommended.
