You know the saying "a kid in a candy store," well that was me the second I stepped in here. I was driving past and I immediately parked to go check out everything they had. Anything and everything you could imagine, floor to ceiling, sugar invaded, and much much more! I loved just looking to see the variety they had in store from old fashioned candy to modern day sugar crazes. One of my favorite sections is the ability to fill a bad and pay by the pound with a wide variety of things! However, one of the best parts about my stop was the worker. It was such a sweet gentleman! He offered samples of candy, encouraged us to get more, and was super friendly! Oh my golly!! I just stepped back in time and enjoyed a true blue candy shop! Candy by the pound, salt water taffy for miles and fresh fudge made locally! It was bright, cheery and super clean! But if allllll of this doesn't have you feeling all kinds of sparkling sprinkles in your heart...the service!!! Tommy helped us find all of the things we wanted and a bunch of things we didn't even know we needed ( hello peppermint fudge!!) He was just a doll! As others have shared, Rocking Delicious is a perfect place to receive excellent service and try some delicious samples. It was fun to be transported back to my childhood days and relive memories of my favorite candies. I bought some Bullseyes, Mary Janes, and Sugar Babies for my plane ride home. My brother bought a bag of salt water taffy, but being it is Florida, it was a little gooey, so he put it in the hotel room refrigerator. The owners here were so delightful. I visited recently and found the store super cute! It's small but a lot is packed into the space. It's on a corner so there is alot of sun/brightness. I inquired about salt water taffy and the young sales guy was very nice and offered a glove because the taffy was soft. Said it was due to the humidity and heat of Florida. He was correct Majority of the taffy was stuck together. But It doesn't help when all of the taffy is next to the window and under direct sun. I was strapped on time so I went ahead and purchased what I needed. Once I got home I placed it in the fridge hoping that would help. Sadly it really didn't. After 18 hours in the fridge. A few of them were easy to access but the rest were still very gooey/loose and unedible. These were for a 90 year old birthday. She can't eat frozen taffy nor is it easy to peel it off the wrap- see picture. I'm very disappointed after spending almost $100 (it's $18 a pound) maybe 10% was edible. The rest was thrown away. I will not be back. I disappointed my elderly friend and lost a lot of money. read more

I'm always on the hunt for delicious peanut butter cups! So when I saw this candy shop I just had to go inside. The staff member present greeted us as soon as we walked in. The shop is small but the variety of candy is huge! I spoke to the staff about the cups and asked if the peanut butter was creamy. She confirmed so I was sold. I should've bought all she had because Omgosh they are delicious! Nothing beats Kilwins however this comes very close in my book!! It's right up there and I'll definitely be back here for more. While my boyfriend's parents visited this weekend, we ended up doing a food tour of Safety Harbor, and what better way than to end it at a candy shop? I feel no shame when it comes to admitting that I spent easily $40 on just my own mixed bag of goodies. There's so many to pick from: salt water taffy, assorted gumballs, chocolate-coated everything, gummy candies, sour candies, jelly beans, nostalgia candy, and more. I did my own gummy candy mix, snagged 3 smarties lollipops, and 4 types of rock candy. His dad is about to travel for work, so he picked up some Toxic Waste to bring over to Norway with him too. In the past I have also tried about a dozen of their chocolate truffles. They're all so good that It's hard to pinpoint down a single favorite truffle. I was a 25 year old kid in a candy store & I couldn't've been any happier as I cashed out my sugar stash. read more

This place was such a fun stop on my trip to safety harbor! Immediately entering there were so many options from sweet gummies to chocolate treats! The sweet man who worked there offered me some samples and kindly helped me find the perfect treats for my sister! I got the tiramisu truffle, and dark chocolate salted Caramel and both were amazing!! Walked in when I spied the new shop on the corner because chocolate! Nice layout and attractive set up without being over filled. Choices range from gum balls and jawbreakers to gummies and taffy and in chocolates too. The chocolates we tried were very good. Smooth and creamy without being too sweet. One case is dedicated solely to chocolates from a local chocolatier. I highly recommend the chocolate covered smores! Sure they sound like something you can make at home but they were oh so good! We ran by again tonight (two nights in a row!) and picked up some more smores, some chocolate cups, and various gummies and taffies. Can't wait to try them all! read more

First, I'd like to say that the staff is extremely friendly and made the visit very enjoyable. I don't remember the lovely lady's name because my visit was almost a month ago, but she was delightful. Now on to the candy. The truffles are amazing! They have a nice thick chocolate shell with a generous amount of flavored ganache inside. You can get any of the 21 flavors in milk, dark, or white chocolate. I purchased one of each flavor in milk chocolate just to give them a try. Wow, they are good! I enjoyed every single flavor. Most notably the orange and coffee flavors. The coffee truffle is quite possibly the best tasting coffee flavored chocolate I've ever had. I will be back for more of these delicious morsels regularly. Next time I will experiment with some white or dark chocolate combinations too! read more

I have NEVER EVER been in a store that the associate was SO EXCITED to inform you of their products!!! Darcy was so enthusiastic it was contagious !!! Darcy was so excited and new so much about candy... who knew there was so much to know. I joked with her and asked, what's the worst candy in the store?? Darcy replied with Boston Beans until they got a new distributor and now everything is delicious!!
