The only reason why I went is because they had Canadian chocolate. The nestle kit kats and they were out very overpriced. The guy at the counter was just playing on his phone. Which i'm sorry I get that.You had no customers before I came in.But as soon as a customer walks in, get off your phone, it is so disrespectful to be on your phone add a place of work where you are doing business. As soon as I leave, go back on your phone I could care less. But when I'm in there looking for stuff and trying to ask you questions, and you're on your phone like that's so disrespectful. Your out work you're not getting paid to be on your phone. I won't be back. There's a different candy shop in mount. Clemens, I will be more than happy to drive out there and check them out, but this was a waste of time. I spent way too much money on barely anything. I walked out spending thirty bucks for a small bag of saltwater taffy, if it's even real saltwater taffy, a couple sweetheart suckers, a pack of gum and one candy bar, a butterfinger, like that is so overpriced. read more

Such a cool, unique store - I walked around browsing the selection and couldn't help but smile! Not only do they have a lot of nostalgic items (like Pez and Pop Rocks), but also totally wacky gag gifts and international sweets (mostly from Japan & Mexico). I was pleasantly surprised to find a Harry Potter section, and picked up some Bertie Bott's jelly beans for my nieces. Similar to other reviews, I noticed prices were slightly higher than other places but this is a specialty store so I don't mind. This is a really cool store to stop into when you have a sugar craving. They have so many different options in the store. The employees are super nice and helpful as well. They have a lot of items that are organized in sections. For example, they had a section for japanese and mexican candy, along with an international section near it. One of the workers did ask if we were looking for something specific. She helped point us in the right direction. The only reason this is a 4 star rating instead of 5 is because of the pricing. A lot of the prices were really high compared to other stores. I saw gummy bears that we always get, and when I looked up the price it was a lot more at this shop than other stores. This is still a great shop if you are looking for hard to find candy. read more

Rude and over priced. Two small bags of gummy candy and two cow tails, over $10. Handed the man cash and some coins. Made a fuss and refused my coins that were Canadian. Told me 'You should know better'. All I did was reach into the coins in my wallet. I didn't thoroughly inspect them before handing them over. He acted like I was trying to pass a counterfeit bill! As over priced as the candy was, almost double the price of say Meijer, and he had the nerve to make a big deal of the few pennies he may have been shortchanged. He made such a big deal over it I calmly said I won't be back. He said 'Good!' I told him to have a nice day and he scoffed at me. Not a very good way to run a business!!!!! read more

Only reason why my rating isn't a 1 is because the store it's self is nice with lots of selections. The bad: When I saw the Rocky Road bar I instantly remembered this use to be my favorite candy bar! Once I got home I ripped open the package and took a bite. Instant chemical taste! I spit it out it tasted so horrible. Not a bit of sweetness. Very let down. Well now I'm really in the mood for one of these bars so the hunt started. I tried looking on Amazon and found it. But I also looked at the reviews. A good bunch of other reviews also started the bars tasted like chemicals or how paint smells. Maybe Rocket Fizz purchased them off Amazon maybe not, but there was definitely something wrong with these bars. We also bought about $10 in taffy and they were a let down as well. Each peice so far has either been stale or tasted old. Will probably end up throwing the rest away. What a let down. First and last visit for sure. read more

Rocket Fizz is a good old fashion candy and soda chain that is located all over the country. I just learned that there was a location near me, so I had to head there right away to get a chocolate bar from my childhood. When I walked in my mouth hit the floor and I just looked around and said wow. I've been into Nostalgia candy places before, but none like this. First off there not just a old-fashioned candy shop, they have some novelties and they boast 500 flavors of soda. Now I didn't count them, but they are all over the store and I'm willing to bet that's accurate. They have three cold merchandising displays that have several flavors in there if you wanted to get one and try it cold right away. Then they also have 103 different types of taffy. They have a small bag bag that if you fill to the top is 6.99, or a larger bag that is 8.99.They also have maybe 10 to 12 individual piece old-fashioned candies that you could intermingle if you wanted. Unfortunately I didn't ask how much they were just per piece, but most people that I saw came in just fill their bag with all different kinds of taffy and weren't going to stop at just one piece. As you looked around you see candies from different places in the world, some things that you may have seen in your life, or depending on your age maybe your parents or grandparents have seen. Everything in there brought back such good memories of when I was a kid and just made me feel super happy. If you stop in here unless you know exactly what you're getting, you can expect to walk around and look at everything 10 times before seeing it all. You will spend at least a half an hour and it will be a great half an hour. During my time here with my friends, we saw about 15 people come in and every single one of them had a big smile on their face when they came in and when they left. If you want a little taste of the past, or want to share with your kids or younger people in your life something from your childhood I definitely recommend coming in. The sodas are $2.29 each or you can get a six pack for a discount also. They have weird flavors like grass, dirt, hot buffalo wings, or if you're just looking for 25 different types of root beer, or actual ginger beer, or just cola from different places they have it. There are also some old timey toys that made me smile and think about things I had when I was a kid. Worth the trip 100%. read more

My FAVORITE candy shop my sil recently told me about it and the workers are very nice and friendly they went above and beyond for me as I asked a ton of questions. I came couple minutes before closing and they didn't even kick me out told me to take my time. INCREDIBLE customer service right there. If you haven't been by this place - GO!!! What an AWESOME store! 500 sodas! Candy you haven't seen in years! Tons of flavors of salt water taffy - Beemans Gum - Clove & Blackjack Gum - Cinnamon toothpicks - and so much more!
