Established in 2024.

I’m a self-made mom, licensed esthetician, and entrepreneur who built a luxury brand from the ground up—with no handouts, no shortcuts, and no roadmap. Just grit, passion, and a vision to turn pain into power. I started Rocket City Lashes, the only LGBTQ-owned lash studio in town, as a one-woman show offering premium lash and beauty services. Since then, my business has grown into a two-story luxury experience that now includes lash and brow services Upstairs, you’ll find something even more personal—my podcast studio, home of Unfolding Her Legacy. Through my podcast, I share the raw truth of my journey: surviving Lyme disease, losing my partner to a tragic car accident, and rising as a fierce, independent mother raising my son with love and purpose. Now, I’m stepping into the next chapter—rebranding my business to focus on life coaching and empowerment, using my story to uplift others and remind them that healing and success can coexist.

I built Rocket City Lashes after battling Lyme disease, pregnancy, and being denied the time I needed to heal by my former employer. I was in esthetician school, working as a lash artist, and fighting for my health—while raising my newborn son. When I realized no one was going to hand me the life I deserved, I created it myself. Now, I run the only solo owned lash studio in town, offering luxury lash and brow services, weight loss treatments, handmade beauty products, and more. My journey didn’t break me—it built me. And through my podcast Unfolding Her Legacy, I help others rise too

The first $250 + session was supposed to be highlights and lowlights. I get babylights on top and…read moresaw her using a weave comb to do the highlights and questioned it. She wasn't budging on not using that comb and slicing my hair instead so I went with it. Of course I had about a half an inch of roots on the top of my head still at the end. I didn't complain too much because I didn't want any problems but decided the only way to fix it was to color it all platinum. I reached back out and she brought me back in about 2 weeks later. She literally melted half of my hair and it didn't look good at all. I still paid another $250 +. I reached out a third time and said I just wasn't happy at all. My hair was so thin and I actually witnessed her trying to hide the melted hair in a towel. She said she didn't feel comfortable bringing me in until 4 weeks later. Ohhh also the second trip I had to use the bathroom so bad but her restroom was not working. Her salon is right next to her house and she didn't even offer to let me use the bathroom there. Anyway, that was Feb, 2023. I finally went somewhere else in December, 2023. She did a strand test with 10 volume and my hair was starting to melt before 5 minutes. I asked if she could just color it all my natural color but she said she couldn't because all of the pigment had been taken out of my hair. I then decided I had no choice but to just completely grow my natural hair back out which I'm still doing now. I'm 41 years old and have not had to do this before in my life and I've been getting my hair done since I was 15. I'm also a licensed hairstylist and was when I first had my hair done. DO NOT GO THERE!
