Unfortunately, my concern was not met with the compassion or attention I expected. Instead of being heard, I felt dismissed and that my emotional well-being was minimized. This was my second time being seen by her during my appointments and both times leaving feeling dismissed. Postpartum depression is a sensitive and serious matter that requires empathy and appropriate follow-up. I had hoped for understanding, reassurance, or at least a discussion about available resources or referrals for mental health support. Instead, I left feeling unseen and unsupported. I believe healthcare professionals should take every mental health concern seriously, especially when it involves postpartum mothers who may already feel vulnerable. I hope this feedback encourages greater attentiveness and sensitivity toward patients expressing emotional distress in the future.

Thus, there must be a 48-hour wait from the day a female receives counseling until the pregnancy can be terminated. Also, you must come prepared to spend 4 hours in their office on procedure day (Wed or Sat), but I would recommend you plan for all day, just to be prudent. My husband and I were new to the area when we found out we were expecting our first baby. We weren't sure where to go and read tons of online reviews from various doctor's offices and even signed up with one of the bigger doctor's offices in the area initially (the soonest they could even see us would've been a month out although I needed to be seen sooner with the pregnancy). However, when we were referred to Dr. Eric Tallent by multiple women in the area, we cancelled that appointment and called his office. We immediately could feel a difference even on that first call - It was so much more personal and intentional. All of his nurses and staff are the SWEETEST people! I look forward to seeing them at each appointment, and they always remember me and have the biggest smiles on their faces. Now, as we're going back for appointments with our second baby on the way, they are always so excited to see our first that he delivered! Not only is the experience a great one with Dr. Tallent, but he is also so skilled at what he does. He approaches everything with a confidence that comes from doing what he's doing for over 40 years. When we delivered our first, it was a complicated birthing process and he never had a worried look on his face and made decisions quickly and confidently in a way I will forever be so thankful for! When she was born, the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck, and the way he so quickly and skillfully removed it (as well as carried himself and acted) resulted in our precious healthy baby being perfectly fine which we praise The Lord for each and every day! I actually didn't even know that happened until my husband told me later (which is only because of the way he carries himself and is so confident in what he is doing!). The receptionist got my height, weight, and BP, but didn't notate so I had to do it again the next day. When I arrive the next day I was left in her office chair for about 15 minutes until I was actually seen. I asked for blood work so Dr. Whyte sends me downstairs and states her receptionist is waiting on me. When I get down stairs the receptionist is no where to be found I walk back upstairs and they are looking like "what are you doing up here" Dr. Whyte literally forgot that she had just sent me downstairs. Fast forward... I was told to call in for my results from my lab work and no one is answering the phone. Everything about my visit was unprofessional. I won't be going back and I wouldn't recommend her to anybody else.

First off important to know; she doesn't have the needed equipment in her office to do an ultrasound or blood work right there. I would have had to go to 2 different places, one to get labs and the other one to get ultrasound done, which made it really inconvenient. They forgot the key to the front door so I had to use the back door along with my husband. The office looks dirty, stains on the ceiling, dirt on the floor. She has a secretary but no nurse working with her. Her nails were dirty. She came 30 min late without an apology/ or allusion from secretary. The equipment she used (Vaginal Speculum) was very old-school and outdated thick metal Speculum that hurt vs plastic ones. She grabbed the equipment from underneath the gynecology chair that's not hydraulic and old-school too, and the equipment wasn't wrapped in air vacuumed or any wrap as a sign of it being professionally disinfected. I was worried I got an infection from that. She used an old-school office lamp to brighten my vaginal area so she could see where to put the speculum. Then put the used speculum in an rusty old sink that was in the room. For someone who maybe never went to a good, professional gynecologist this may be what your looking for but for me who knows that most gynecologist have all the equipment in there office this wasn't professional enough.
