During this time of Covid-19 the studio has offered almost all of their classes on-line at a discounted price to assist their clients and foster community. There is no judgement at Center of Gravity, whether you are a novice or someone who has done yoga all of their life. There are minimal machines as expected, but all the necessities and all my favorites. There are plenty of mirrors (which is a must for me), a backroom studio, showers, lockers, and tanning beds. They even have yoga classes twice a week. The entire gym is very clean and the staff is both friendly and attentive. Even though there was only one staff working, she kept herself busy re-racking weights, wiping down equipment, manning the front desk when someone came in, etc. I am impressed and happy to make this my new gym!

Tip: listen to her and don't be offended if she suggests Beginner instead of Advanced, as the Beginner class will "scale up" to harder poses, but you should know Ashtanga (for your own safety) before trying Advanced. Plus, Advanced is a real workout, too! Definitely make the time to show up when classes are scheduled, though I bet SNAP and regulars would work with you on scheduling if you really needed different times. The new location affords SO MUCH MORE, including loads of space, an indoor track and specialized equipment areas. Plus, it's a chic, repurposed industrial space...cool vibes all-around. Gym time is the bright spot in my day because Wayne and Lindsay, the owners, take such pride in what they do every single day.
