Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time or money at this place. There is no shortage of…read moretrophy shops that can handle basic engraving and treat customers with a shred of professionalism--this is not one of them. I've used Trophies By Jay before, but this experience was so bad it permanently ended any future business. I dropped off two fantasy championship trophies for plaque engraving, which should be one of the simplest, most routine jobs imaginable. After an entire week of complete silence, I called for an update and was told, word for word, "Fantasy trophies are not the priority right now. I'll get to them when I can." No timeline. No apology. Just blatant dismissal. I gave it more time and called again four business days later, only to receive the exact same response. When I pressed for an ETA, I was told there was none and that he maybe could get to it by the end of the following week--nearly three weeks after drop-off for basic engraving. At that point, it was clear my order was never going to be treated with even minimal importance. Rather than taking responsibility or communicating like a professional, the owner became openly hostile and combative on the phone, telling me to come pick up the trophies so he "didn't have to deal with" me asking for updates. When I arrived to retrieve them and calmly stated I would be leaving a review, he had a full meltdown--stormed into the back room, started yelling, and ordered me out of the store like a child throwing a tantrum. Yes, the physical work is passable--but that is completely overshadowed by the astonishing level of arrogance, disrespect, and contempt shown toward paying customers. The owner clearly does not value people's time, does not understand customer service, and should not be running a business that requires any interaction with the public. If you value professionalism, communication, or even basic human decency, take your business anywhere else. This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and I will never return. I strongly recommend others avoid this place entirely.

They started out with a deep discussion about the characteristics of his game (ball speed, revs, types of patterns he expects to be rolling on, etc.) Then working together my son and Chris went through options and settled on the Motiv Ghost Jackal. My wife was very impressed with the time he spent and his expertise. After we purchased it, I tried to register the ball online with the manufacturer, and ran into a roadblock. I email Chris and he immediately went to work and solved the problem with the manufacturer. Next day I was able to complete the warranty registration. And if results are any measure of satisfaction, my sons first game with the new ball (see picture) resulted in his high game, with six strikes, a mark in every frame, and no opening pin count less than eight. He was STOKED! As things stand now, when my son needs a new ball, we know EXACTLY where we are going. Back to Excelsior!

Due to my time constraint I opted to go into the shop so I could talk to someone immediately and see the trophy options in person. I explained to Dianne my budget and vision and she was able to give me two recommendations. After I sent in the artwork Franklin quickly reformatted it for me and sent me a proof. All in all they definitely could have turned it around for me within one day if needed. I was in a rush so I picked it up instead of having it shipped. They close at 4:30 but they were able to leave the trophy with the superintendent for me to pick up at 5 since I couldn't make it in time. I used laser imprinting and the quality was really great with clear lines and the font was exactly as we had given them. We just had our awards ceremony yesterday and everybody loved the award. All in all it cost around $100 for the model I chose however many people told me it looked so much more expensive! Unfortunately, I can't share a picture since this was for a corporate event but I definitely recommend Atlantic Trophy to anybody on the fence!
