If I could give negative stars I would…read more I took my 4 year old son for his first appointment May 2017. He was terrified. The hygenist has no business treating children. She belittled him and told him several times he was being a baby. She did not explain anything to him, when she was cleaning his teeth, he didnt understand to close his mouth around the straw to suck out the water, he thought he was drowning. On the second visit in November 2017, they tried to get xrays. Again she didnt explain anything to him, she grabbed his face and shoved the plastic bar holding the xray. He pulled away and started to cry. She called him a baby and to hold still. The dentist was very nice and seemed to calm him down. They told me he has the begins of a cavity and to bring him back in 3 months. So I took him yesterday. I blame myself I should have never let these people near my child again. The same hygenist took care of my son, the same manhandling nature, name calling, but this time she wouldnt let me stand with him and hold his hand. She was gagging him with the xray stick to the point he was almost sick. When I moved in to comfort him she told me to move out of the room. This was a horrible experience. The dentist was just as cold, no patience, no friendly demeanor. She barely looked at my child then told me they has to send him to an ER and sedate him in order to fix his cavities. This was the third dentist in three trips, she doesnt know my child, she hasnt worked up a relationship with him. It is all about the money. A $2000 procedure, when she has no idea if he really needs it. You are a pediatric dentist office, this is all you do. If you do not want to work with children then dont work for pediatrics. I went across the street to a family dentist and in the waiting room a women overheard my story and said that she has a similar situation with her daughter. I chose a pediatric dentist to help my son not fear the dentist, I wanted to start him with a good relatiosnhip so he wont be afraid to go to the dentist when he is older. These people should be investigated and the licenses revoked.

Also, the customer service and scheduling are amazing! They send appointment reminders and are VERY easy to contact! I see Dr. Castro--he's such a cool guy. We had an hour-long discussion about guitars and his love for music. He does great work and is extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Castro is also great with minimizing pain and offers affordable services! Rosie is amazing at processing insurance claims. On a few occasions, I was reimbursed several hundred dollars from my insurance--thanks to her! Lastly, the office is very clean and staff take great precaution in protecting your safety--especially during COVID. They have new equipment that filters the air during procedures. He has a nice practice in convenient Bel Air, just off of Route 24 near Bertucci's. I chose to go from Baltimore to Bel Air when I needed a new crown for an old rear molar. Dr. Dan expertly performed the mold, the temporary, and the permanent. His lab was timely, his instrumentation and use of technology were great. Even in the middle of a pandemic, he was able to accommodate my emergency visit. His office was clean and his staff, Amanda and Christine (at front desk), were kind, courteous, and professional. I was able to get my teeth cleaned and my mouth feels and looks great - no more tartar and buildup. Thanks Dr. Dan for improving my smile!

I was able to get an appointment at 6:30 PM on a Monday. The dentist was extremely down to earth and very personable. I think his name is Jim. He talked me through next steps and made me feel extremely comfortable, especially after I told him that I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist. He explained to me my options as far as anesthesia, using laughing gas, etc. Overall I had a great first experience. Took off a star because for my next step, I had to book out all the way to January 2027; however, they did say that a hygienist is coming back from maternity leave soon and her books will open up. They put me on a list to be called and noted my appt preferences. Hopefully I can be seen for my next appointment soon!

I go to a different hygienist for my cleanings and all have been extremely efficient and very professional. The front desk staff is just as kind and very friendly. This is an office with such a welcoming vibe that also focuses on excellence in care. They also have an oral surgeon and other specialist available within their offices. I have had procedures by Dr. Vendetti who is equally amazing, friendly, and just all around wonderful.
