Nice café and restaurant; for sleepy Hawker at least. The setting inside the small shopping area, with comfortable outdoor seating (regular tables and 2 high benches) and a nice-looking dining area inside is a good start. Seems pretty popular with locals.
I've been here a couple of times for takeaway coffee and twice for brekky. I have not experienced the dinner menu. The breakfast menu is pretty typical and not very creative on paper (and in person). But, the food *does* taste good and the coffees are very nice; my double macchiato in particular was excellent.
Prices are possibly a bit high for such a sleepy neighborhood (brekky $16-20; dinner mains $32-40). But overall, a relaxed place for a weekend brekky or brunch. read more
