There's nothing else like this anywhere near here, and what is within driving distance can't compare. I met Melissa years ago while she was set up at a farmers market and was delighted and totally surprised to find out that she had a shop in my small neighborhood. Oaklandon is quaint and cozy but not really known for the excellent small businesses we've gained in the past few years. It helps to have a shop like this in our little neck of the woods, but that's not the only reason I'm now a die-hard of Essential Wellbeings! I love to visit, even if just for the excellent vibes. The shop is thoughtfully curated with a huge selection of harder to find crystals, literature, magical tools, and of course, aromatherapy (Melissa's specialty). Melissa is an expert in so many things. Her down-to-earth energy is so refreshing! She's super well-read and knowledgeable but the humility in the way she shares what she's learned is the real gem. It can be kind of hard to find people who are experts in this area to begin with, but then to find someone who's not pretentious about it is a gift. I took the chakra balancing course and had an amazing experience learning so much! The first product I fell in love with was the chakra oil mists. Shortly after finding Essential Wellbeings, I had a pretty difficult conflict in my life and Melissa welcomed me into her space to relax and chat without expecting anything in return. I bought seven small 2x3 herb bags and paid over $30 total, which is easily the most I've ever spent on that small amount of loose plants. The quality seemed fine, but the portions were much smaller than I expected for the price. I'd come back if I needed something quick, but I probably wouldn't rely on this place for regular herb purchases.

If my frequency is so high that it's low vibrations and negative entities were lurking in there by the goat's skull in the window or what, but within minutes of browsing the crystals I began to feel like I couldn't breathe like I was almost trying to be choked. My daughter kept browsing and told me be to come further back and was talking to the tarot guy who was pulling the lowly me act trying not to be desperate for a reading but be relatable. They were talking about Egyptian Gods and my daughter knows alot Mama Isis is one of her spirit guides. Finally when she heard Mama Isis say get out in her head she listened. We got to leave because at that point I was about to pass out. Once I got out whatever heaviness lifted. I pray for that building when I drive by. One would assume Satan is being worshipped in there, witchcraft, idk. I saw them @ the coliseum psychic fair with a big sign that says fortune telling doing no readings. Jade, turquoise, opal, fossils, quartz, agate, fluorite, petrified, wood, petrified, dinosaur bones, etc. etc. I'm telling you this place rocks! Owner is an encyclopedia of knowledge about rocks, gems, stones, bones & you name it. Helpful so you can find exactly what you are looking for or something new that you've never seen before. The prices are crazy good for what you are getting!! I found a petrified dinosaur bone!!! I also got the most beautiful tall Crystal quartz with a beautiful point and it stands up! It's in an old clothing factory & it's individual art studios so be sure to check out some of the other studios there too. Also, it's by appointment so just call the # to have them open the door when you get there (# is on sign outside in front of door). You are foolish not to at least check them out. I found them on Google after I typed in the word "witchcraft in Ohio" when I was looking for historical places pertaining to witchcraft & metaphysical landmarks, etc. in American history.
